The location is great/convenient, just off Piazza Navona. The property itself is nothing fancy, but definitely serviceable/adequate.
The biggest challenge is noise. The flip side of the central location is crowd noise until past midnight. Then, every single morning, around 7am, workers come to recycle glass bottles from nearby restaurants/bars. The loud sound of bottles clanging off one another woke me up every morning. To be fair, it is more of a problem for the bedroom facing the street. The bedroom in the back fares better.
What is missing from the Expedia/Vrbo page is that the transaction is actually handled by a separate company, WeasyHost, which requires that you make payment by wire transfer, not by credit card. As I do not bank in euro, it means a higher total cost due to the currency exchange fees charged by my bank. (If you bank in euro, you won't have this problem.) In addition, the Expedia/Vrbo page does not clearly state the amount of the tourist tax, which is to be paid with cash at check-in. The true total cost for me ended up being several hundred dollars higher than the "total cost" shown when I made the reservation on Expedia/Vrbo.
The property manager is friendly/reasonable, but may not be the most responsive person, especially once the check-in process is over. I requested a final receipt including the tourist tax, but he never responded to my email/text.
Overall, despite the great location, it was a disappointing stay.
