From the moment you arrive you can relax in your beautiful lodge with its bubbling outdoor hot tub and rustic finish. This really is a place of peace and tranquillity.. Please be advised that hot tubs (with the exception of The Little Potting Shed which does not have a hot tub) will be emptied, cleaned and refilled before arrival, and as such may not have reached full temperature on the first night’s stay.

Please note that allocated unit names may differ, however the standard of accommodation will be the same as that which was booked.

Early check in (3pm) and Late check out (11am) is available at a charge, and must be requested upon booking.

Due to the rural location the internet can be intermittent.

Please note all facilities will be closed from the 5th of January to 13th February 2026.

We had a perfect stay in Bloom Lodge! The lodge was very clean cozy and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Lovely large bathroom and shower, large bedroom with a comfortable bed and lots of wardrobe space. Very private with beautiful views and having a hot tub on the balcony made it extra special. The location is great as it’s very close to Skegness and Ingoldmels so there’s plenty to do if you want days out. We can’t wait to return again and are so happy that we found this beautiful site.

My partner loves fishing so we had a day at the lake and it was great fun.The staff were super helpful and friendly - especially as we had to change two of our outdoor wine glasses as they were broken.The welcome pack was also a fab idea - all kitchen essentials taken care of.I would definitely come back and would not hesitate to recommend 👍

Cabin was clean and tidy. The onsite restraunt did seem to be over priced as we traveled to have breakfast and dinner most days when we stayed. They do offer a special meal on certain days which is very popular.

It has extra little touches like bathrobes & slippers and welcome gift of Prosecco which gives it a more luxury feel.Fabulous hot tub great temperature throughout our stay. The lodge is very private with great views and a covered enclosed veranda.It could do with some extra glasses and more cutlery and also a corkscrew. It needs an anti slip mat for the shower as the base is very slippy.The living area does not have any blinds so it doesn't feel very private late at night/early morning. The door to the bedroom is straight off the living area so you enter straight onto the fully glassed front. It is in a very private setting so it's not a great issue plus we understand it would be a shame to hide the wonderful view. Maybe some discreet blinds could offer the choice of felling more private.

We booked Herons Mead quite last minute for a weekend away.

We booked Herons Mead quite last minute for a weekend away. It’s a really quiet spot in a secluded area with a large fishing lake. If you want things to do close by this might not be for you but it was ideal for us. The staff were so friendly and attentive and happy to give recommendations of things to do nearby. The lodge itself was perfect for us, it was spacious and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a lovely added bonus. The Hide is a great place for a drink or food if you don’t want to venture out. It’s good to see the extension/building work going on and it all expanding too. Gibralter point is a lovely nature reserve with a cafe, different length walks to suit every and is really close to a beach. Just remember cash for the car park!Our only slight negative was that the phone signal and wifi wasn’t great but that just meant we had to put the phones down and switch off which I don’t think is a bad thing. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return!
