Loved being in Slabtown! Condo was clean, but furniture was a bit more worn/stained than pics let on. Also, the pic had us thinking we would be closer to Hoyt (but we were prob even more happy with Quimby, even if it was a further walk to Powells).For a space that sleeps 8, it was a bit of a hassle only having 1 elevator fob. We were constantly up and down letting people up -- only 2 of us slept there, but we enjoyed having the living room as a base for a small group of 7 during the day. We even enjoyed lunch on the 3rd floor patio, with park like feel and grown-up outdoor games (tetrus and cornhole). Could have highlighted even more amenities -- it was a treat, really!

Excellent location, near an awesome market and lots of coffee shops and great food. Very comfortable neighborhood. Good size living space and quiet.Down sides: Bedding had stains. Washing machine left laundry soaked. Door lock was difficult to lock. TV remote didn’t work (missing battery).Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the stay. I would stay here again.

Great neighborhood, apartment could use an overhaul

We stayed two nights, and enjoyed the neighborhood. Easy street parking (paid during day) and convenient grocery store and many restaurants. The apartment size is great, bedrooms are good size. But the living room accommodations are not large enough for the number of people who can stay (couch seats 3 at most, one other small chair). The overall appearance was like a young person’s first apartment, mismatched and low quality furniture, lots of patches or missing paint on walls, moldy and smelly shower curtains. Linens could all use a wash or replacement. I did appreciate that Vacasa reached out when I noted issues with cleanliness (they called me and apologized but did not make any concrete steps to fix issues). Definitely not worth the price charged, especially with over 300 in fees for our stay. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with a VRBO listing, and I will certainly be more cautious with Vacasa properties in the future.

Great Spot

This was a great spot for our family of 6, exploring Portland. The neighborhood is super cute and clean. Street parking was easy to find. The only hiccup with our stay was that the washer and dryer did not work. Other than that it was a great, central spot.

Nice apartment in great area

Perfect place with enough room for everyone. Love that we all had our own bedroom and 2 baths was a bonus! Fully stocked kitchen made dinner time easy. Parking was easy at firat gets harder to find close parking on the weekend so keep that in mind you may need to walk a couple blocks. Location is convenient to a fantastic market and exceptional restaurants

Spacious, bright property with close walking distance to shops and restaurants

We enjoyed our stay here and thought the location was very good. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen, living and dining areas were spartan but pleasant. Building itself has a nice coffee shop on the ground level which is a bonus. Would stay here again!

Great condo and location

Group of guys in town for a Timbers match. The rental worked well for the 4 of us and it’s a corner unit so lots of light. Great coffee shop in the lobby of the building, great grocery store across the street and tons of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Less than 10 min scooter ride to downtown.

The unit needs proper management

The three bedroom unit was okay but there were some serious problems that will prevent me from staying there again or recommending it to others. All linens smelled stale and unwashed, the beds appeared made when we arrived but smelled not fresh. The spin cycle on the washing machine was broken so all cloths we soaking wet and the lock/access system at the front door from the street was not working. Multiple teants of the building all said the same thing throughout our stay, the access system has been broken for months. The only way to enter from the street was if another building occupant would open the door. The unit appeared adequately clean but the ambiance was very sterile and felt very much under managed and neglected.

While the property was relatively spacious and well located amidst some of Portland’s nicest neighborhoods, we were quite disappointed in our stay. Apartment was pretty worn down, cleaning staff had clearly dropped the ball, and Vacasa customer support inefficient. When you’re paying hundreds of dollars a night, you expect toilet paper at least.

Great visit

This is a wonderful property! Spacious and comfortable. Off-Street parking was easy to find, many nice restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store within a couple of blocks.

Fantastic base in Portland

Great service by Vacasa team with clear instructions to gain access out of hours ( we needed as flight delayed and arrived in early hours) Location ideal-safe, close to amenities and transportation and good to wander in neighbourhoods. Great home, great location.

This space was so cool and comfortable to live in - which could be tough for a group of 8. The space felt very open and spacious and we were all very cozy there. Coffee shop right downstairs was a godsend.

Great location!

The location was very central with easy access to many amenities. The apartment was spacious and quiet (with the windows closed). Check in and check out was easy and painless. The Vacasa staff is very friendly and responsive when/if there was an issue. FYI: the kitchen is limited in items for detailed cooking, but will get you through in a pinch. We would stay here again.
