Comfortable house, great neighborhood

My husband and I came to Portland to visit our son. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great! Good restaurants, grocery store, yoga studio and fantastic bakery right across the street! A very fun time.

Stayed here while traveling for a work conference, and it was so so nice to return to an actual home after a long day. Very comfortable space and beds, nice to have the half bath available, fully outfitted kitchen. Overall, delighted with our stay!

A great spot in a great neighborhood

The house is cute and cozy, the neighborhood is excellent with an amazing bakery across the street and tons of other great food options around. Just minutes to Mississippi and lots of good shops as well as Moda Center. Perfect location for a super fun weekend.

Perfect for a weekend

We grew up in Oregon – Nicole in Roseburg, Don in Portland – and have been fortunate enough to watch Portland come into its own. A very European city. Family friendly, but urbane enough to keep us excited to live here and build a thriving design practice.

We love to travel. We love the people we meet when we do. Travel expands our minds and revives our spirits.

Our goal is to provide an ideal home for you and yours to have a wonderful vacation experience. The kind of place we like to rent when we are abroad. To that end, we have made a conscious decision to furnish our home with higher quality cookware, bedding and other lovely doodads that make a home a wonderful place to stay.

We hope this house becomes the home of many wonderful memories for years to come.

We bought this house several years ago after we had purchased and renovated a small building next door for our design studio. We intended it to be a long-term rental, but Don liked it enough to move himself with his daughter Claire.

Since then, Williams Avenue has just blossomed with restaurants, shops, bakeries, coffee, food carts, parks and more.

Now his daughter grown. This sweet house is an empty nest. It's time to share it with those who want to experience Portland.

We love the place. Our books and art remain out for all to enjoy. It is homey, family friendly and smack dab in middle of several wonderful neighborhoods, all worth exploring.
