Cozy holiday home on Signebøen in Halden. Secluded house in beautiful nature, here you might see deer, elk and other animals. Berries and mushrooms in the area. A small terrace outside where you can relax on sunny days, and a barbecue should you want to cook outside. The house is old but well maintained. The ground floor has a spacious kitchen and a living room. Cozy fireplace, wood is included. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk beds. There is an annex on the plot with a bathroom with hand basin and shower cubicle. There is also a toilet room with dry toilet, not WC. Several good fishing lakes in the area. The Halden watercourse includes fishing in Halden, Aremark, Marker, Aurskog - Høland and Trøgstad. All lakes have many fish species and large stocks of the most popular fish species, so here there are good opportunities to catch. You can also rent a canoe and experience the Halden Canal on your own. The Halden Canal offers some routes and charter trips by steamboat during the summer season. On the journey you really get to experience what Norwegian nature has to offer: large lakes, narrow canals, high locks, open meadows, and forests. If you are lucky, you could see both beavers and ospreys. The steamboat Prøven runs scheduled trips on beautiful lake Kornsjøen from kl. 12 every Saturday and Sunday in July. In Halden you can visit Fredriksten Fortress and maybe see “Allsang på grensen”? Easy to take a quick trip to Sweden should you want to do some shopping.
