Great Nantucket Cottage

We had a great stay at this property. Great location, very centrally located close to bike paths, beaches, etc. Very clean, room set up is great for families. Owner and property manager are very flexible and easy to work with, we will definitely rent here again.

Great stay!

An amazing space for our family of five. More than enough room, and the home is clean, bright, and well-equipped. Even came with a pack and play and high chair for our 1 year old. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pool and location was centrally located. Our stay was lovely!

Perfect house for a family

Amazing stay

We loved every minute of our stay and are hoping to go back again next year! Terrific location, really comfortable home. Josh was super responsive and the property manager, Sandy, was really helpful and available for whatever we needed. The house is spotless and equipped with whatever you need. Highly recommend!

Wonderful vacation home

Our stay on Nantucket was perfect - having a beautiful, private swimming pool and a well-designed home made our trip so enjoyable. The house is well equipped (although there wasn’t any laundry or dishwasher detergent, so bring some). All in all, a great getaway.

Fabulous week in fabulous house

Loved our stay in this newly constructed, modern and beautifully furnished spacious cottage. Located with easy access to multiple bike paths and beaches as well as gourmet market. Private back yard and well maintained. Gas grill worked beautifully and comfortable lounge chairs. Friendly, very available owner. We can't wait to return.

Wonderful property & location

Our family of four had a wonderful time at this rental. The owner and property manager were incredibly kind and responsive for any questions leading up to and during our stay. The property itself was well-located with easy access to all activities. The surrounding neighborhood is quite peaceful. The home was clean, well-stocked with any supplies we needed, with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space to play. The heated pool was the biggest attraction and the kids had a fantastic time. Overall a wonderful experience and huge thank you to the hosts.

The location is excellent. It's a 5-7 minute walk to a wonderful little grocery store, called the Meat and Fish Market. We found ourselves there daily for their fresh food and sandwiches and sushi. It's about a 20 minute walk to a wonderful playground. Surfside Beach is just 6 minute drive. And being in the middle of the island it is a short ride everywhere else.Josh is a WONDERFUL host! He is extremely responsive and flexible with requests. The house is lovely, with laundry on both the 2nd floor and in the basement. There are black-out shades, which is important with kids since the sun rises by 5 am. The beds were all SO comfortable. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Perfect Get Away

This property was perfect for our family. The house is well located. The house is just like it is pictured, and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay for our first trip to Nantucket. The very best part is the home owner, Josh. He was the perfect host and was very available to answer any questions. Hurricane Dorian delayed our leaving the island. Josh was most accommodating and thoughtful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful home centrally located!!

My family and I just returned from a week in this wonderful home. Our stay was perfect.. Josh, the property owner, went out of his way to make sure everything was in order. We couldn't ask for a better host. The home is lovely. Everything was immaculate and the linens all new. The game room saw some use. The kids loved the ping pong table. The bedrooms are spread out enough that my 3 teenagers had their space but the family area was perfect for getting everyone together. I cooked most nights. The kitchen had everything I needed. The pool was perfect and used every day of our stay. We went to Surfside and Cisco beaches both great. We wouldn’t change a thing and plan on returning!

Just right

5 ladies for a week and we all had plenty of space in this centralized located house. We were 1 mile from town so we rode our bikes that we rented but found using a friends car was important on the island. We went to 9 of the 10 beaches. Sunrise beach is 20 minute drive and sunset beach is Medakat. Breakfast and lunch we found the best restaurant was Lemon Press in Town and our favorite server was B! I was impressed how far you can walk on every sandy beach that surrounds the island. The house was fully stocked kitchen and we enjoyed the carry out lobster and lobster rolls from Sayle . Saturday farmers market was our first stop The house manager Sandy less available for questions and at any time . The beds were comfortable and towels were lush! . The house was just right with the heated pool and outdoor fire pit in the end of September 2021.

Catherine and her friends were great guests and definitely always welcome back!Catherine made an auto-correct typo in her review which she missed before she posted and then tried to correct but once reviews are posted they cannot be changed.So here is the note she just sent me regarding the typo: Thanks Josh! We loved your house and Sandy was always available and helped us many times with quick responses! I noticed the review I posted typed an auto correct and error('less' instead of 'was')that I did not see until I posted. Now I can’t find how to fix my error. Super sorry for doing the review on my phone where I couldn’t see it well and didn’t notice my incorrect post about Sandy! She really was fabulous and I sent her a text apologizing for my error. I am trying to fix it but can’t see how. Can you copy this and add it to my review in your response or let me know how to fix it please. I am sorry and Sandy should know i am sorry because she was great!Thanks,Catherine.

We LOVED this house!

Beautiful backyard and swimming pool. We spent most nights grilling and swimming in the heated pool. Was a great option on some of the cooler/cloudier days. Home is fully stocked. Landscaping is beautiful and makes for a private oasis. But the house offers easy access to the bike path and charming markets, coffee shops, and restaurants. We stayed as a family of four so more than enough room. Kids loved the bunk room and outdoor shower. Lots of books and games including a full game room. Plenty of linens and beach chairs available. Josh and Sandy proactively reached out and were very responsive during our stay. House was stocked with soap, detergent, paper goods and a gift of a bottle of wine on arrival. Home has new appliances and systems and is well decorated. Pride of ownership was obvious. Owners manual is detailed and very helpful. We travel and rent homes a lot and we all agreed this was one of the best trips. So grateful and hope to return again!

Perfect spot on Nantucket island

This house is secluded as it is at the end of a very quiet cul de sac. However it is still minutes from everything you need. The house itself was built in 2017 and is still like new. We loved it. We stayed with our 8,6, and 2 year olds and they loved it. First floor has a full bath, bedroom with queen bed, big eat in kitchen, and living room. Basement is finished so nice with a game room area for kids and another bedroom with queen bed and full bath and its own laundy room. Upstairs has a master bedroom with walkin closet that we used for the pack and play for our little one, and another bedroom with 3 twin beds, and a full bath and laundry room. There is wifi, sonos throughout the house, gas grill, gas firepit, and wood bruning firepit. Pool is salt water and heated and the kids LOVED it. We will be back. Josh is awesome and makes great local recommendations and is always available via text. Would highly recommend this house!

Idyllic Summer Holiday

This gem of a house has it all. Close to town and also private and serene. Clean, bright, tip top condition while also warm and welcoming. Great family space, including a "teen cave" (bed and full bath) in the basement for older kids. Add the pool, ping pong, foosball, firepit and big screen TV for movie night, and you have a heavenly vacation. The outdoor shower with hot water is a delight for us city dwellers. We loved the convenience of a washer/dryer. And, one more big plus if you have a new swimmer in your group: there is a wide ledge along both sides of the pool, allowing a swimmer who is developing skill and confidence to have a good landing place while practicing and participating in the fun of the deep end. Josh and Sandy are five star hosts. Don't hesitate to book your stay - please just don't take the weeks we want to come back! :)

This is such a beautiful, warm, and comfortable home. It has everything you need for your stay. The outdoor space is wonderful with the fire pits and pool. We highly recommend staying here for your visit to Nantucket ! We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing time!

We absolutely loved this property and Nantucket! We had such a relaxing time with our family, and the host was very responsive and actively sought us out to see if we needed anything. It is an absolutely beautiful house, and a pool is a must have in Nantucket! We didn’t go to the beach every day and the pool allowed us flexibility as well as a great place to relax.

I am originally from London but have been living on Nantucket since 1988. I have used the island as a base to explore the world including a six year circumnavigation aboard my 35' sailboat.
