Avoid at all costs
I had the misfortune of booking this property on short notice during a recent trip to London.
The first issue was the fact that the host wouldn't confirm the address. They gave me a building name and a zipcode, I looked it up, sent them a link to Google Maps asking them to confirm and they told me to see the address they already sent.
I arrived at 1AM due to flight delays. The host, to their credit, was there to meet me at that time and quickly rush me through the property. It didn't feel right, the carpet in one room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, the other had stains, marks on the walls, etc... but I thought, I'm tired, I just need to get some sleep and it will be fine in the morning.
Well, I woke up in the morning, took stock and realized that the kitchen floor wasn't clean, the silverware in the drawer was dirty, the carpets had stains all over them, as did the walls.
I contacted the host requesting a refund for the remainder of the stay, offering to pay for the two days I was there (I was there for a total of 12 hours). They didn't respond so I left and notified them of this. Days later they offer to send someone to clean the apartment but argue that it wasn't dirty, even though I have pictures and videos. They charged me a cleaning fee, which is ironic, as well as a fee for an extra person, even though I was the only one to stay there (the property lists as for 4 and I was supposed to have two others stay with me).
