Open plan barn annex, just 10 mins walk to the fabulous Jurassic coast, with seasonal use of outdoor, heated swimming pool. Located in the quiet hamlet of Lower Eype, with local pub and nearby shop. Ideal for walking the SW Coast path, lazing on the beach, fossil hunting or exploring the unique market town of Bridport with its antique quarter, food and local produce. Ideal for families and/or small groups.

A lovely place to stay. You can walk to the beach, cafe and pub or relax by pool in the lovely garden. Would highly recommend.

A lovely stay

Great location for coastal walks and a very well stocked kitchen. Signage to the property could be clearer but some research on Google maps in advance saved us from getting lost!

Splendid week in Dorset

We have enjoyed a lovely stay at the Barn. With special thanks to our hosts Vicky and Merv and their lovely family. The converted barn is a nice cottage with a very cozy familyroom (fireplace, open plan kitchen). It’s light and colourfull, even on a clouded day. We have enjoyed the great swimming pool and hot tub. But most of all, we loved the beautiful walks through the countryside and along the coast. All within 300m. Thanks for having us!

Cosy, quiet annex with a lovely pool

We really enjoyed our stay in the barn annex. It's clean, well stocked and we had everything we needed. The security of the property could possibly do with improving as both entrances were tricky to operate and didn't feel overly robust. The directions made finding the property slightly difficult as they directed us to the local holiday park. We eventually found it by locating the pool at the property on Google maps. Mervyn was very helpful - he introduced himself to us on arrival and gave us a brief run down of the property. We asked for some firewood and some was brought round promptly. The pool is lovely but the hot tub was not available. It's a tricky little place to get to but if you are looking for a quiet getaway in a rural area, this is a great place to consider.

Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war unglaublich nett, es gab viele hilfreiche Informationen zu Umgebung, Ausflügen und Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Das Cottage ist sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet, die Küche hat aus was man braucht um zu kochen. Wir haben uns auch sehr über die frischen Blumen in jedem Zimmer gefreut. Die Kinder hatten großen Spaß im Pool und am Strand, der einen kleinen Bachlauf zum spielen hat. Die WLAN Verbindung ist eher mäßig, aber da wir sowieso überwiegend die Landschaft genossen haben, hat uns das nicht sehr gestört. Jederzeit gerne wieder!
