Darling North Shore neighborhood with miles of walking trails, backs up to the regional park. Across the street from a lovely, sandy public beach with boat ramp, kayak and paddle board rentals. Within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. Free public transit less than 5 minute walk. Fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking and baking needs! 10 minutes to NorthStar, 21 minutes to Squaw/Alpine. NOTE: base price does NOT include 10% Placer County TOT or the 2% Tourism Tax. We live in Northern California and love the Sierra! Mark grew up in Lake Tahoe, graduating from high school there. We've owned Bunny Dunes since 2009 and love sharing our home, the lake and the beautiful mountains with our guests. Bunny Dunes gives you an opportunity to 'live' on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Tahoe during your stay. We love to stay at other STRs and have tried to include all the necessities of a home at Bunny Dunes. We have been short term rental hosts since 2015 and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

Bunny Dunes is in a quiet, residential neighborhood on the North Shore. Most of the homes are smaller, Tahoe cabins. The neighborhood is across the street from the Tahoe Vista beach and backs up to the North Tahoe Regional park with miles of walking/hiking trails. We enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood while still being close to the busier area of Kings Beach and a short drive to Tahoe City. Just up 267 is access to the Tahoe Rim Trail with gorgeous views of the lake.

Bunny Dunes sits atop a sand dune that leads down to the Tahoe Vista Beach. The hot tub is a wonderful way to end (or start) your day, with its pretty views of the lake. Much of the dune is protected and we love all the wildlife that lives on the dune: bunnies, hawks, mountain jays, squirrels, chipmunks, little mice, as well as the occaisonal bear and other critters that are common in the Tahoe National Forest.
