Lovely apartment with to rooms, one is a suit room, spacious and with a new good quality king size bed what makes you getting a good night sleep.
This appartment offers fast access to all parts of the city. It is located in the urban and vibrant Old city, close by Oslo Central Station(train) and Oslo Bus Terminal. Just a short walk to the Opera House, BarCode, Bjørvika, Sørenga, and central to all major atrractions.

The apartment is located right next to the Botanical Garden, Natural History Museum on Tøyen in Oslo, which is Norway's oldest botanical garden, it was established in 1814. The garden and its collections have since become part of the Natural History Museum, together with the Geological Museum and the Zoological Museum. The Natural History Museum is again part of the University of Oslo (UiO). The botanical garden has an area of 150 acres, with around 35,000 plants, distributed among 8,500 species from various parts of the world. The apartment is next to the Botanical Garden, Natural History Museum on Tøyen in Oslo center.

Tøyen may be a small neighborhood, but it packs a big punch when it comes to cultural offerings. In addition to the aforementioned Hovedøya Abbey Museum and Intercultural Museum, there’s also the Munch Museum, which houses the largest collection of works by the famed Norwegian artist, and the Natural History Museum, where you can learn about everything from the Northern Lights to prehistoric mammals. And of course, no visit to Tøyen would be complete without a stroll through the Botanical Gardens, which boasts more than 7,500 plant species spread over 40 acres.

The apartment is not as described; 1 bedroom is quite small with no storage except for a few hooks behind the door and there is no room to leave a suitcase open. The "second" bedroom is what use to possibly be a living room in which were added two mattresses on the floor and a small table with 4 chairs.The cleanliness of the kitchen left something to be desired.Lastly, the location is a tad shady with access via a back alley that smelled of urine.

Great short trip

We stayed two nights in Oslo . This apartment was perfect for that . It’s small but the beds were very comfortable and the location was good for walking etc … host was helpful and nice

Lovely apartment

The location was nice and close to Metro. And the apartment was nicely appointed. Checki-in was a little awkward, but our host was very nice.

Perfect location

Two blocks from the T-bane station, across the street from the botanical garden, on several bus lines, and easy walk to central city. We loved the neighborhood and the apartment was perfect for the three of us. Host was outstanding.

Magical Delight

Perfect size and comfy for the 4 of us- it’s immediate proximity to the botanical gardens and then the walkable distance to known and lesser known attractions just made our Oslo adventure unfold effortlessly- host was so kindly responsive!

Comfy and Clean across from Botanical Gardens!

The apartment is very comfortable, felt safe, and is only a 5 minute walk to the Metro at Toyen. I didn't t know the area when I booked, but saw the large green space on the map which turned out to be the delightful Botanical Gardens, right across the street, where the surroundings are beautiful and the Cafe, Handwerk, has delicious food and drink. The host was responsive and friendly. It was a tad warmer than expected but we purchased inexpensive table fans and we were fine. If you have trouble sleeping with light, be sure to bring a sleep mask if you visit in the Summer! Beds were super comfy. Thank you Naroul!

Oslo Apartment

We booked last minute for 3 nights. The host Naoual was very quick to reply and to get us scheduled. She even gave me her WhatsApp contact when the VRBO site was not working for us. The apartment is on 2nd floor with narrow steps leading up. It seemed like neighbors were very quiet and we hardly saw others as we walked through the property. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. Plenty of storage space for clothes. The area of town is culturally diverse. We had all sorts of restaurants from Turkish, to Yemen, to fast-food all within 6 minutes walk. Parking was a challenge. We ended up 10 minutes away at a large Public Parking building and just left our car there the entire stay. However, these is room in front of the entrance to the apartment complex where we were able to stage our car for unloading and loading when we left. We walked to several parts of Oslo. Easy also to catch taxi or bus to further areas. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely Oslo apartment.

Our stay, in general, was fine. But here are my warnings for the next person.1- we had to open the windows for the cool breeze to come in but the noisy neighborhood disrupted our sleep2- towels smelled of mildew and food3- if your flight is arriving late at night, book somewhere else*when booking, I let the host know that we would be arriving “very late.” The host didn’t ask what time nor did they mention that they had a check-in cut off time. The day we were flying, I receive a message from the host with check-in instructions. I mentioned again that we’ll be arriving late & the host says “I have a cut off time of 10pm (or 9pm? they mentioned two different times so I’m not sure which it is). This makes it a difficult situation for me. I’m uncertain if I can meet you to check you in.” In the bustle of traveling, I didn’t see their response until we were sitting at our gate at the airport in San Francisco (middle of the night in Norway). I ended up having to call VRBO to help us out as their chat agents were not helpful. I was traveling with my mother who is a senior & was now feeling stressed out because I was worried we wouldn’t have a place to stay when we landed at 11:00pm the following day. VRBO put us up in a hotel because the host wasn’t able to accommodate us.What bugged me the MOST was that the host wrote to me about how our late arrival was stressing her out—as if we had control of our airplane’s arrival time—& gave me all the excuses when we finally checked in.

Sorry to hear you felt that way, but I want to explain my side too. When you booked, you just said you’d be arriving “very late,” but never gave me a time. I tried many times to contact you to plan check in. I sent messages, called, and texted, but didn’t hear back. Only the day before arrival you told me your flight landed around midnight, which means check-in would be around 2–3 AM. As a private host, I don’t offer check in that late, and I explained that clearly. Luckily, VRBO helped find a hotel for your first night, which I think we both should be grateful for. But it feels unfair to leave a bad review just because I couldn’t meet you at 2 AM- especially when I really tried hard to plan things with you. When we finally met, you were unfortunately quite rude, even though I had done my best to give you good service. About the towels: they were freshly washed before your arrival, but if something didn’t feel right, I wish you had just told me- I would’ve brought you new ones right away. I’m always happy to fix things if I know about them. Also, after you left, the apartment was left very dirty with trash everywhere, which was really disappointing. I always try to give my guests a nice and smooth stay, but good communication and mutual respect is really important.
