Beware - listing lacks needed detail
We walked in and walked out and paid for a hotel. I've never even complained about a VRBO before now. The room had a door that opened to the living room - the bed was no more than 10 feet from the TV in living room. Another renter was watching TV and talking on mobile phone when I arrived. I closed the door and could hear everything at full volume. If we'd stayed and had marital relations in that room, anyone in house (2 other parties) would be treated to a full audio show. Just ridiculous that this total lack of noise privacy wasn't mentioned in listing. The listing says "shared space" and owner used that to claim all needed info was provided. I expected shared kitchen, not a practically shared bedroom. We left and paid for a second property, the local Marriott and though annoyed to have lost hundreds of dollars on this absurd listing, it was worth it to my wife and me. Other notes: On very busy loud street with no parking. Location was decent with maybe 5 minute walk to city center. I would never rent from this owner / management company again due to their complete dismissiveness of my issue when I wrote them. Your mileage may vary.
