Idyllic country retreat with pool, yoga studio, and 2 lodges sleeps 12 -19 max

Our rustic, relaxed farmhouse is set in the glorious rolling countryside of southwest France. Just over an hour north of Bordeaux and just half an hour from the regional capital of Angoulême. Our location is very rural, you need a car to get around and get your shopping.
From the Family sitting room, opening to the main dining terrace, to the breakfast salon and snug sitting room, there is room to relax and unwind. The Yoga Studio provides the perfect space for calm meditation or physical practice whilst also giving you a space away from the heat of the midday sun. There are eight bedrooms and 7 bathrooms in the main house; four doubles (two can be twins), one full twin, one room for 4 with 1 double and 2 singles and three separate single rooms. There are also two garden lodges with double beds and ensuite shower rooms, each sleeping 2 guests extra, so 4 in total. Max capacity for the main house and 2 lodges is19 guests plus babies (if you like to stay with a smaller group, with less than 12 guests, please do let us know and we are able to give you a different price depending on availability and time of year)

Outside, the large (unheated) oval pool is surrounded by decking, grass, and a tiled terrace. There are plenty of sun loungers or you can curl up on an outdoor sofa with a book in the shade. The gardens surrounding the house are full of a variety of trees including banana palms, and stands of bamboo. Mown paths cut through the wilder areas, leading to some secret spots away from it all.

The FACTS (important, please read before enquiring)
* When the calendar shows the domain is available, it means it is available and you can
book. We update our calendar daily!
* Max 19 guests allowed (in the farmhouse 15 and 4 guests in 2 lodges), we do not accept any more (no extra beds, no tents, no blow-up mattresses).
* The lodges are both located less than 50 meters away from the main house.
Please refer to any images under our listing or the floor plans.
* The pool is NOT heated nor enclosed, but it has a pool alarm.
* The garden is not enclosed, so children need to be supervised at all times.
* The pool location is next to the house.
* The location is very rural, in a small hamlet. This means you will always need a car to
go shopping. There is no bakery to walk to.
