We loved Villa degli Ulivi! The house is clean, well maintained, VERY well equipped and the surrounding are gorgeous and peaceful.Marta (the owner) was very responsive and helpful, she gave us a lot of great tips on restaurants and things to do. Franco and Assunta (the custodians) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.Having a car is highly recommended because the hills to get to the place are very steep.

A lovely place to stay with a super, welcoming host

We had an excellent 8-night stay in Villa degli Ulivi, very comfortable & well equipped and in a lovely situation, surrounded by olive & fruit trees, with a view to the sea. We were welcomed on arrival by Franco, who was very helpful when we had a minor issue - as was Marta's cousin Cintya, who speaks excellent English. The property had everything we could need, & we were greeted with a super 'welcome pack' - thank you, Marta, for such thoughtfulness. Puglia's local produce is excellent - and we made the most of local markets. Rodi Garganico & San Menaio, just a couple of kilometres away, are good for bars, restaurants & shops. The house is one of 2 or 3 on the property of Villa Giuseppina, but was completely private. It's a steep approach from the coast road, but easily found using Google maps (and less daunting after the 1st time driving up!) It was a great place both to relax and to explore the Gargano peninsula. The drives through the forests and along the coast, especially across to Monte Sant Angelo and towards Vieste (via the necropolis di Monte Pucci near Peschici), were well worth doing, especially if the weather is mixed (we had a couple of storms). One note of caution - if, like me, you react badly to insect bites, do bring your usual remedies! All windows are screened, but the mosquitos seemed fierce (though my partner was fine!)

Ich konnte während des gesamten Aufenthaltes, sowie davor nichts finde was mich gestört hätte. Die Unterkunft war für uns als Familie perfekt. Es fehlte weder in der Küche noch in den anderen Räumen an etwas. Die Terasse ist bestens ausgestattet, von hier hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf Oliven, Zitronen und Granatäpfelbäume. Fußläufig ist das Meer in etwa 10 min zu erreichen, der Strand und das Wasser sind Ideal für Kinder. Der Kontakt mit Marta der Gastgeberin war immer hervorragend, wenn ich könnte würde ich noch einen Stern extra geben. Sie hat uns vorab schon etliche Information gegeben was die ersten Tage wesentlich leichter gemacht haben.Sollte meine Familie und ich nochmal nach Rodi kommen würden wird definitiv wieder diese Unterkunft nehmen.

La maison de Marta est super. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme à la maison. Elle a pensé à tout. Merci bcp pour l'accueil. Je n'oublie pas le gardien et son épouse, très accueillants. Nous y reviendrons bien volontiers.

Der Empfang und der Service war einfach perfekt. Haben noch vor der Anreise alle notwendigen Informationen über die Anfahrt sowie geöffnete Restaurants etc. erhalten. Wir haben uns alles sehr wohl gefühlt.

Der gesamte Aufenthalt war perfekt. Sehr gute Lage und Ausstattung. In Küche und Bad wurde an alles gedacht. Herzlicher Empfang durch den Verwalter. Begrüßung telefonisch und per WhatsApp sehr herzlich durch die Eigentümerin. Das Objekt ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Vacanza garganica

Abbiamo trascorso una decina di giorni a Villa degli Ulivi,in giugno.Ci siamo trovati molto bene,la casa è confortevole e dotata veramente di tutto Al nostro arrivo,di domenica,abbiamo trovato a nostra disposizione i beni di prima necessità(olio,caffè,zucchero,latte,sale ma anche taralli,biscotti,acqua minerale) La casa ha un bellissimo spazio all’esterno,ombreggiato,dove è possibile mangiare e rilassarsi,si trova all’interno di un terreno con ulivi,carrubi,alberi di arance, in un contesto molto gradevole e tranquillo.La signora Marta ci ha dato molti suggerimenti utili sulle spiagge da visitare,i ristoranti,i negozi.La casa si trova in una ottima posizione per visitare il Gargano(Peschici,Vieste,Rodi,La Foresta Umbra),da Rodi sono facilmente raggiungibili anche le Isole Tremiti.Un posto da consigliare.

Wir waren zwei Wochen mit unseren 2 Zwergpudel in der Unterkunft und es war einfach nur genial. Sehr ruhig inmitten von alten Baumbestand. 15 Minuten zu Fuss ans Meer, an welchem wir stundenlang spazieren gehen konnten, da Vorsaison. Kurz und Gut: einfach sehr sehr schön und erholsam

Schönes Anwesen in der Natur

Die Gastgeber haben in diesem Haus alles hervorragend organisiert, es fehlt an nichts und es ist sehr sauber. Von der beschatteten Terrasse kann man den wunderschönen Garten mit Pinien, uralte Olivenbäume, Feigen- und Zitronenbäume bewundern. Es ist absolut still dort, vor allem nachts. Zum Strand kann man in 5 Minuten hinuntergehen. Es lohnt sich sehr die Strände bis Vieste zu erkunden, die kleinen Buchten mit glasklarem Wasser und feinem Sand. Für uns ein toller Urlaub, Entspannung pur.

Ottima esperienza

Villa davvero stupenda. Dotata di tutto (lavatrice, lavastoviglie). Perfettamente corrispondente alla descrizione. Posizione ottima e tranquilla. Patio con possibilità di griglia. Accoglienza molto attenta, con dotazioni in cucina e nei bagni davvero oltre le aspettative. Ottima esperienza.

Dans la nature

Belle propriété préservée, au milieu des oliviers. Renovation récente. Maison tres pratique et super bien équipée. Accueil, services au top. La propriétaire, tres gentille, de même que sa cousine, qui vit sur place, nous ont bien aidé, parlant le français. Je recommande.
