Beautifully warm Cotswold stone on the outside, whilst light and airy inside. The Barrel Store is well-appointed with beautiful craft features throughout. From locally-made warm woollen throws to wrap up in, to artisan-made chairs and light shades, this is a hostel which makes the most of its association with New Brewery Arts next door to create a hostel with a real difference.

Our Community Room’s self-catering kitchen is fully equipped.

Make your own meals, use the fridge for storing your food, eat at the communal table and relax in the comfy chairs.

We welcome keen cyclists and walkers, and those who enjoy a more leisurely pace.

We're in a great location for you to explore the Cotswolds. Cirencester is on national cycle network routes and walking trails

Our lockable cycle stores are allocated on a first come first serve basis, ensuring your pride and joy is safe while you stay with us.

We have space for more than 40 guests sharing our 14 rooms. Let us know what your group needs and we can help arrange catering and even a group craft workshop at New Brewery Arts next door.

A VERY GOOD PLACE TO STAY
We are environmentally friendly. Built to rigorous environmental standards we’re an ultra-low energy building. We always use renewable electricity.

We’re part of a charity. Any profit we make is donated and supports our local community get creative.

We care about others and are an active part of our community. In the 2020 COVID lockdown we worked to house local homeless.
