Il Cavaliere - tuscan farmhouse with pool on the wine road of Montecarlo-Lucca

The Farmhouse Il Cavaliere is located a few kilometers from Lucca, on the Hill of Montecarlo, an ancient, medieval hamlet sourrounded by olive trees and vineyards. The restauration of a rural, tuscan farm, a plae where you can discover the unique life and architectural style of Tuscany, perfectly blended to all modern comforts.
Surrounded by the countryside, it has a well-equipped kitchen (with fires and electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric boiler, american coffe machine, italian moka coffe machine and microwave), relax area, TV, wi-fi, ari conditionning and double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The gardens all around are independent and equipped with sunchairs, tables, chairs and barbecue. The sweimming pool is located a few meters from the houses and the access is only allowed to our guests, who can enjoy the panoramic pool using sunumbrella, sunchairs and sunbeds dedicated and sanitized in respect of security and distances roules.
During your stay you can enjoy the unspoled nature, the peace of the hllside and our activities proposed, like the tour the the Estate, the visit to our olive oil mill, the tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oils directly produced!

Il CAVALIERE is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse totally remodeled to join the unique style of Tuscany to our modern comforts.
The house has a well-equipped kitchen, living room with tv, laundry room and three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and shower cabin, located on the ground floor (one bedroom) and on the first floor (two). The beauty and comfort of interiors are perfectly blended to the relaxing countryside all around. The garden, equipped with sunchairs, table, chairs and barbecue, is the perfect place where to enjoy the slow pace of our Tuscan hills.
The swimming pool, where to enjoy the panoramic view on our olive groves and Montecarlo hill, is open from May to October and it is located a few meters from the house.
During your stay, come discover our estate. We'll visit the olive oil mill and the wine cellar and taste all our DOC and IGT Wines and DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil directly produced in the comfortable tasting room or on the amazing, panoramic terrace.

Fantastic, spotless, well-equipped property. The villa is in an ideal location to serve as a base for visiting the sights in Tuscany and beyond, or chilling out. The pool, while shared, was never busy. It's about a 15 minute walk up the hill to the bars and restaurants in Montecarlo. About 15 mins drive to the local supermarket in Pescia. Could not have been better - would love to return!

Check-in war völlig unkompliziert und ein sehr netter Empfang. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Allerdings fehlen gerade in den Bädern Ablageflächen und ein paar Haken für die Handtücher.

Tuscanny at its best

We had a wonderful week at the lovely Il Cavaliere farmhouse. Everything was as described. The house is very well equipped, clean and spacious. This is true as well for the huge pool which is very well maintained. Although there are other farmhouses on the same property we had always the feeling of privacy. Our personal highlight was a guided tour with Arianna through the family owned olive trees and the vineyard including very interesting insights in the production of olive oil and vine. An according tasting was the perfect end of this guided tour. Arianna is kind of perfect host and is always there if you need something, have questions etc. Last but not least we recommend to visit the attached restaurant as well as Montecarlo itself which ist actually very beautiful. To make a long story short: We will come back next year!

Rundum schöner Urlaub

Wir waren vier Erwachsene, ein Teenager und ein Kleinkind. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber mit allem was man benötigt eingerichtet. Die Betreuung durch die Menschen vor Ort ist einzigartig. Der Müll wird jeden morgen abgehlot, der Pool gereinigt, die Außenanlage ist gepflegt und Arianna ist ein wundervoller Mensch die den Aufenthalt für uns perfekt gemacht hat. Die Führung durch die Olivenplantage ist sehr interessant und absolut zu empfehlen. Das dort produzierte Olivenöl konnte geschmacklich von keinem anderen während unserer Reise durch die Toskana übertroffen werden :-)Wenige Minuten mit dem Auto (auch zu Fuß zu erreichen) ist ein kleines Dorf namens Montecarlo. Hier gibt es tolle Restaurants und eine tolle Eisdiele. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung. Danke Arianna und das Team.

Schönrs Landhaus im Toskanastil in ruhiger Lage

Sehr schönes Landhaus im Toskanastil. Den Hauseigentümer, der die kleinere Haushälfte bewohnt, bemerkt man kaum. Tolle Aussicht auf den Ort Montecarlo und Olivenbäume. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Geräusche von der nahe gelegen Strasse hört man ausserhalb des Hauses kaum, im Haus überhaupt nicht. Schöne rustikale Ausstattung des Hauses. Tolle Betreuung durch Arianna.

Wunderschönes Haus im Olivenhain

Der Urlaub war sehr schön, mitten im Olivenhain. Es gab einen sehr schönen Platz vorm Haus mit Tischen, Stühlen, Liegen und Grill. Im Haus war auch alles vorhanden und die Gastgeberin für jede Anfrage offen und es gab immer sehr gute und schnelle Antworten.Das nächste Ort war in 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar mit einen kleinen Laden und vielen Restaurants.

A Great Tuscany Retreat!

My family (6 of us, all adults) spent a week at this lovely farmhouse in Tuscany. The host is amazing and made sure we are comfortable and nothing is missing, she gave us a great and educational olive oil and wine tasting, the property is wonderful with olive trees all around and a large pool to enjoy, every bedroom had its own bathroom and the location is perfect for day excursions to see much of what Tuscany had to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

Schöner Aufenthalt in der Toscana

Alles in allem gut, durch die hohe Bewertung 10,0 bei 53 Bewertungen waren unsere Erwartungen sehr hoch. Da die letzte Unterkunft bei 9,3 lag und m.E. noch besser ausgestattet war, waren wir zwangsläufig etwas enttäuscht. Auch darüber, dass wir kein eigenes Haus sondern eigentlich eine Maisonette-Wohnung in einem Haus hatten, da das Haus im 1.OG durch eine abgesperrte Türe und unten durch eine mittels Platte geschlossenen Durchgang asymmetrisch geteilt ist. Im OG hatte man auch immer wieder mal Zigarettenrauch. Für Formaldehyd-Allergiker, wie in meinem Fall, ein Manko. Auch gab es Unklarheiten hinsichtlich der Klimaanlage, ob diese in dem Mietpreis enthalten ist oder extra bezahlt werden muss. Die Klärung dieser Frage hat am ersten Tag einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Der Kontakt mit dem Anbieter ist sowohl im Vorfeld als auch während des Urlaub's exzellent. Täglich kam Arianna vorbei, ob alles ok ist. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben. Der Pool ist groß und es gibt pro Haus ausreichend Liegen und Schirme. Im fußläufig entfernten eigenen "Ristorante Osteria Del Vecchio Olivo" erhält man 10% Ermäßigung. Wir haben an der angebotenen, kostenfreien Olivenöl-Produktions-Führung und Verkostung teilgenommen und von hauseigenem Olivenöl und Wein reichlich mit nach Hause genommen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub.

Ein Träumchen in der Toskana

Klasse Unterkunft (wie beschrieben), Traumgastgeber… Arianna hat jeden Tag nachgefragt, Kleinigkeiten sofort erledigt…. Unbedingt Öl und Weintasting im der Agricultura durchführen… man erfährt viel Neues…. Insbesondere das hausgemachte Öl ist der Hammer!! Montecarlo: wir kommen wieder !!

Wunderbar und absolut empfehlenswert

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Montecarlo sehr genossen. Zu jeder Zeit fühlten wir uns gut betreut. Der CheckIn war optimal und die Räumlichkeiten sehr sauber. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Ein Küchengerät hat nicht funktioniert, doch das Problem wurde von Arianna innerhalb von 5 Minuten gelöst. Schneller geht es nun wirklich nicht. Die private Olivenöl- und Weinverkostung war sehr informativ und lecker. Wir hatten zu keiner Zeit das Gefühl kaufen zu müssen. Sowohl das Olivenöl, als auch der Wein waren jedoch so lecker, dass wir uns gerne für zu Hause eingedeckt haben. Das Essen in der dazugehörenden Osteria sollte man sich auf gar keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Das Risotto war die reinste Gaumenfreude und auch die Pizzen waren extrem lecker. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Entspannter Familienurlaub

Schönes großes Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern, jedes mit eigenem Bad. Jedes Bad hat eine Dusche. Großes Wohnzimmer und Küche mit Esstisch. Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine sind vorhanden. Zum Pool läuft man 20 Meter den Weg entlang und jedes Haus hat seine eigenen Liegen. Unsere beiden Töchter haben gern auf der Wiese und dem Pool gespielt. Die Anlage liegt mitten in einem Olivenhain. Sehr schön grün und ruhig. Nach Montecarlo sind es 2 Min mit dem Auto und 10 Min zu Fuß. Das angeschlossene Restaurant ist gut und es gibt viele weitere sehr gute Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Alles ist gut geplfegt und hat funktioniert. Die Vermieter sind erreichbar, falls man etwas braucht und der Gärtner nimmt täglich den Müll mit, wenn nötig.

Super schöner Aufenthalt

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise haben wir uns total wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang durch Arianna beim Einchecken war sehr herzlich und total nett. Sie hat uns das Haus gezeigt und sie war den kompletten Aufenthalt bei allen Fragen und Anliegen für uns da, war echt super!!! Das Haus war absolut sauber, hätte wirklich nicht besser sein können. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig aber dennoch nah am Ort Montecarlo! Die Ausstattung im Haus war ebenfalls sehr gut, es war alles da was man braucht und es war alles in tadellosem Zustand. Der Pool war noch etwas kalt (was aber Anfang Mai nicht verwunderlich ist) aber auch der war total sauber, hat so ausgesehen als ob er jeden Tag gereinigt wird. Wir haben ein paar mal in der mehr oder weniger dazu gehörenden Osteria gegessen, es hat uns immer super geschmeckt - tolles Essen, toller Service und wirklich gute Preise...! Rundum haben wir uns total wohl gefühlt und wir werden sehr wahrscheinlich wieder kommen.

Wonderful agriturismo only a few minutes walk from beautiful Montecarlo

This property honestly exceeded our expectations. Fantastic facilities, lovely shared pool with specially assigned seating for only a few other guests. All the staff we dealt with were super helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine and olive oil tasting with Erika. The restaurant associated with the property - Osteria del Vecchio Olivo is authentic and good value. Only a 5 minute walk up the hill to picturesque Montecarlo which has lots of good restaurants. Thoroughly recommend this family run agriturismo!

Montecarlo ein Juwel in Nachbarschaft von Lucca

Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön gelegen inmitten von Olivenbäumen mit Blick auf den Glockenturm von Montecarlo, den man mehrmals täglich hört. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist stilvoll und entspricht der Beschreibung. Aufgrund der sehr hohen Temperaturen haben wir den Pool sehr geschätzt und genossen. Von Montecarlo aus kann man Pisa, Florenz besichtigen und tolle Wanderungen in der Nähe machen. Wir haben auch das hier produzierte Olivenöl und Wein probiert und einiges über deren Herstellung gelernt. Die Kontaktpersonen waren sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer verfügbar. Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Everything you want it to be!

The Stefanini property is absolutely phenomenal. I was looking for a farmhouse in the olive and wine area between Firenza and Pisa, this more than fit the bill. Every morning starting with a walk through the olive groves and a swim in the wonderful pool. Sylvia was great and both Erika and Arianna were wonderful. The Oil Olivo from the property is the best and the wines "so good". We were there during the Festival in September and found the region to be peaceful and scrumptious. The Ristorante Osteria Del Vechio Olivo is fantastic. A great point of reference for going into Firenza, Lucca, Pisa, and north to Lago di Pontecosi.
