Monastery 17 is a beautiful top floor apartment , overlooking Loch Ness , just perfect for monster spotting
Sleeps up to 7 with 2 bedrooms , a sofa bed in the lounge and a fold out chair with 2 bathrooms , All linen included

The main bathroom is the star of the show , As you can bath overlooking Loch Ness , it has the largest window on site for the most spectacular view . Simply Breathtaking

There is also free wi-fi and BT Vision in the apartment with Netflix films

The Kitchen is very compact but has everything you should need, including a cooker & hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.

A point to note : due to the history nature of the building , there is no lift , And being on the top floor, there are a number of steps , but well worth it !

Located within the 20 acres of private ground of St Benedict's Abbey. Our luxury holiday rental apartments overlook uninterrupted views of Loch Ness, Scotland, making them an ideal base for touring the Scottish Highlands. This was an absolutely magical place to stay and our family will have fond memories for years to come. So conveniently located, yet with the feeling of being on "retreat." The views and the overall vibe were amazing. The life size chess set was a total crowd pleaser for our kids - aged 12 to 22. Thank you for an amazing stay and we hope to return!

We loved our stay at the Highland club. We were surprised by how large the space was, it easily fit our young family of 5. Very clean. There was so much to do on the grounds- swimming, soccer, tennis, croquet, ping pong, playground- in which we took full advantage of. Additionally, we fell in love with the charming little town of Fort Augustus. Highly recommend staying here!

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. The view was amazing, and access to the amenities (pool, club room, grounds) terrific. Beautiful accommodations in such a lovely area. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying here. It is such an impressive and unique building right on Loch Ness. The apartment is not luxury but good value, comfortable and has accommodations for a whole family. The bathroom really does have an amazing view. The other windows are a little more difficult to see out of unless you’re really tall. We also really enjoyed the pool and walking to the village.

Thank you for your kind comments , We are really pleased you all had a good time , However we are curious what you mean about not being luxury ? I guess it’s what you are used too ? Or a matter of opinion? To us the owners , We would class it as a luxury apartment , judging by the amount of money we spent on it ! The windows are and have to be conservation windows , due to the nature of the historic building, But they are at normal height , Yes it would be amazing if every window is like the bathroom , big huge double windows, But sadly , It’s a former monastery , and before that a fort , built for self protection Yes it is good value as I lowered the price to make it available to all , So no champagne , or chocolates or luxury gifts . Simply a spectacular family home , in a spectacular building in a spectacular location .

Perfect stay at a gorgeous apartment. The views are amazing and the property is beautifully maintained. The check in process was so nice, the owners are lovely and have great knowledge. Highly recommend, just pack lightSince there are no elevators.

Wonderful unique property with lovely views overlooking Loch Ness. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with it's own washer/dryer which we really appreciated after several days of walking! The swimming pool was great to unwind in after a day's exploring, and who can say they've been swimming in a converted chapel?! Thank you for making our stay so memorable :)

I am generally very lazy when it comes to writing reviews, but this great experience living on this property forced me to write about it. Mark is an excellent host. I traveled from the UAE to Scotland, and at times, it seemed he was more worried than I was to ensure I had a smooth check-in. The property is like a palace. Although it is on the 4th floor, the stairs are wide and easy to climb, so you barely notice the height. The location is amazing, check-in and check-out were seamless, and both Mark and his associates showed prompt responsiveness. We had a blast staying at this property. My wife, my kids, and I all loved it. No words can fully describe how wonderful this place is.

We would move in if we could. :) The pictures honestly don’t do this apartment justice. It’s clean, spacious, and the beds and couches were comfortable. Lots of natural light made it feel even bigger. The views are incredible - don’t miss a soak in the large stand alone tub that overlooks Loch Ness! The town is a two minute walk away and has the cutest shops and restaurants. We only had three nights here and could have stayed much longer. Really can’t overstate how amazing this place was.
