Lovely holiday lodge right on the shore of Windermere. Perfect place to unwind with easy access to the lake, and to all of the Lake District. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need in the kitchen. Good size main bedroom, spacious living area, and lovely garden set outside on the deck. Thank you.

Great lodge, perfect location

Lodge is great and comfy, needs some minor diy touches but did not bother us. We had a lovely weekend!

Fantastic lodge and location!

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend, one of the best lodges we have stayed in to a high quality, cozy feeling with carpet and great the doors open onto the outdoor seating area. We love this location, 5 mins from Windermere and even closer to Brockholes with lots of family activities, on the lake and a great restaurant at top of the hill. Definitely book again, thank you!

Great location of this beautiful lodge

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend, the lodge was beautiful and very modern, everything we needed even tv’s in bedrooms. Beautiful surroundings and literally a minute walk to the lake/marina on site x Short drive 8mins to Ambleside and Windermere. We will be returning soon 😊

Ambleside in May

Excellent property just outside of Ambleside, Very nice inside and allowed dog to come as well. Bedrooms are very nice, son and his wife came and stayed last night plenty of room for more people. Nice decking area with seats for 6 or more people. Very impressed with the loaction yards from lake, good facilities onsite bar and resteraunt and a shop.

Chilled family holiday

Property as described modern and comfortable all you need away from home. Plenty to do in and around the resort. Very quiet and peaceful at night proper family resort. Close to the lake and so beautiful to chill beside with a picnic. Had my elderly mother with us and she was able to move around the lodge and area easily. Well recommended.

Fantastic Lodge

Had a really wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge. It was very modern, well equipped and more than perfect size for our party of 3 adults and a teen. The communication with the host from start to finish was excellent. The check in process was smooth and we had all the info needed prior to arrival. The location is perfect and within easy reach of Ambleside, Bowness and beyond. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back one day.

Superb stay.

Communication from start to finish was first class, nothing was a problem. We even got in early which was a bonus. The lodge itself oozes quality, it was very clean, nicely decorated throughout with comfy beds. If you decided to stay in for the night there were plenty of channels & catch up on the tv. There was also a handy wine cooler which kept your beer chilled as well. The outside space was excellent with cushioned seating to relax in. It also had the sun virtually all day so a perfect place to chill out. We would have stayed longer but as usual work gets in the way. We will definitely be back. Thanks.

Lovely modern and clean cabin

Very well equipped cabin a short distance from the lake. Problems were dealt with very quickly by the owner. There were a couple of issues that were largely out of the owners control: Adjacent property had trees that dropped huge amount of leaves on the decking for the cabin that then blew through the property when the patio doors were open. There was an absolutely biblical rain-storm that hit when we were returning to the property. There is a gap between the door canopy and the cabin that directed a torrent of rain water into the lobby of the cabin when we opened the front door to get into the property. As I say, this was largely outside the control of the owner and overall we had a great time in a very well equipped and comfortable cabin.
