Villa Julio offers a relaxing beach holiday for families or couples. It offers great views toward the sea. Villa Julio has four very nice apartments. The villa is located just next to the beach and Split airport. It is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean garden with more than 20 olive trees. Outside of the villa is composed of private swimming pool, tennis court and tennis table together with spacious bbq with a dinning tables. Guests are welcome to take tennis lessons upon appointment. There is also a large grill house with a summer kitchen for use of guests


Entertainment: Villa offers a lot of amazing qualities such as beautiful view on the islands.

Just wonderful

The villa is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host, Josip, is really helpful and sees to all your needs, even sent a taxi to pick us up at the airport. The pool is great, shared between about 4 apartments, so often you are have it to yourself, with plenty of space. It’s only a short walk down to the beach, where there are lots of bars and restaurants. The water taxi to Trogir goes every hour, or if you prefer it’s a 40 minute walk along the promenade. Trogir itself is a lovely town with lots of shops and restaurants, great to spend an evening. I would highly recommend this property.

Great holiday

Lovely quiet pool, great tennis court. Easy access to the waterfront, cafes, restaurants. Easy to manage without a car, water taxis to islands, Trogir and Split very close by. Only downside was no air con in the bedrooms. They were hot!

Greatest host ever.

Wonderful place to visit Trogir and around. Josip was just great. We arrived really late at night because we were caught on a death car accident. He waited for us and even took us to a friend restaurant where we were really well welcome and the food was amazing. We truly recommend this place. The view is fantastic and the pool great. One little negative point, no freezer…. Thx Josip.

stunning views

josip is a tremendous host. nothing is to much trouble. the apartment is a little dated and could do with a few more kitchen items. there are a couple of bars at the front - none do breakfast interestingly - however it is quite a hill to walk back up. there is a water taxi to trogir every hour

LOVED VILLA JULIO

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a week holiday at villa julio and I couldn't recommend it enough. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves as I think September is considered out of season. The apartment itself is definitely better than the photos and the Balcony and view is absolutely amazing. One of the things we miss the most! The second bedroom links to the lounge so if you are 4 people it would make the lounge a bit on the small side but still adequate. The pool is gorgeous and tennis court is great. Josip lent us rackets and we played most days, the court is in a great condition. The whole grounds of the block of apartments are so well looked after, beautiful olive trees, mandarin, pomegranate trees, turtles and all looking over the sea. Really stunning setting. Yes there definitely is a bit of a hill climb back up to the apartment from the seafront but it's not that bad and we need the exercise so wasn't an issue for us. Josip was great and really helpful, he organised us transfers (which were quite expensive given the journey time but very convenient!) which was a great help. Location wise, we loved it. The apartment is literally 5 mins downhill to the sea front and I actually loved the beach closest to the apartment. The water was crystal clear, absolutely gorgeous. The beaches are shingle but it's quite fine so isn't painful to walk on particularly and means that the water is just so beautiful. It's just a short walk to lots of bars and restaurants however these were very quiet in September so we usually got a boat to trogir in the evening or walked to Seget old town (about a 20min walk in the other direction) which both had more going on. Trogir is much more touristy with loads of restaurants and yachts! The old town in Seget is a sleepy fishing village which is really lovely and has a few restaurants which get quite busy, Antonio's was our favourite, it's tucked away in the lanes and has the most amazing food. We met a couple in their who had eaten there 5 nights in a row! We did a boat trip to split and also the 3 islands boat trip, both from Seget, outside hotel medena, just 10 min walk away. Highly recommend the boat trips, the islands were AMAZI NG and definitely the highlight of my holiday! I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We had a perfect week and fully relaxed which was exactly what we needed! It was very quiet in the evening but I think that's because it's September, a bit further afield there w

Wonderful Pool and Grounds, Great Location

We stayed at Villa Julio as family with teenagers. Josip was very friendly, so laid back and extremely helpful. The Villa is only a 15 minute drive from the airport so no real need to hire a car. Split is a 30-40 minute drive away, but in the summer there are boat trips from the jetties along the beach. Villa Julio is set in a wonderful grove of mainly olive trees, but also limes and figs. The pool is a decent size has plenty of good quality sun loungers and a fantastic view over the sea. We stayed in one of the top floor apartments which again has a spectacular view. The apartment was simply, but comfortably furnished. There is a two ring hob, microwave and fridge, although no freezer compartment. Although there is air conditioning it is limited to the main living area. In the end we did without it, despite night time temperatures staying above 22c and 34+c during the day. There are a few bars and restaurants along the promenade and Joke's right at the end is well worth the walk. Make sure you take a water bus to Trogir (you could walk the 1.5km or so but the boat is much more fun. All in all we had a wonderful time at Villa Julio and recommend it wholeheartedly!

great location

My husband and our 2 children 7 yrs and 15yrs spent a lovely 2 weeks at Villa Julio. Josip was very friendly and helpful. He organised our transfer from the airport and arranged a hire car for us . The apartment was clean and spacious with fantastic views of the sea and Trogir. Lovely pool and a short walk( 5mins) down a hill to the beach. There was a lovely promenade along the sea with bars and tavernas. You can walk into Trogir or get a boat , which run every 1/2 hour. Quite busy in August but very clean beaches and the water is crystal clear. Trogir is beautiful , like a little Venice and not too expensive. We also went to Kyrka national park and swam in the waterfalls which are beautiful, although crowded in August. overall a lovely place .My only problem was my 15 yrs old daughter who was bored as all the teanagers were Croatian. I would recommend taking a friend at that age , then they can enjoy the nightlife on the promenade which is geared towards teenagers and families. Lots of water sports as well. My 7yrs old son spent his time in the pool or snorkelling and played tennis on the court at Villa Julio. Great Holiday.
