The general space plays a prominent role in groundwater recharge, especially at the high levels affected by the fog paper. Three of these places, Azuaje, Barranco Oscuro and Tilos de Moya, have a double scientific interest in being relict laurel forest cores that once spread throughout the area.

Villa La Linde

On arrival, I cried…. because the villa was so beautiful! Couldn’t believe we were so lucky to stay here. Lovely quiet location, every aspect of the villa has been thought out to make a very comfortable stay. It was a very special holiday, 3 generations… so many wonderful memories created… There is nothing negative to say… we hope very much to return one day. Thank you!

Fabulous villa!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa last Linde. It was the most beautiful villa that was so thoughtfully equipped. The pool was an excellent size, with plenty of sun loungers/ hammock/ swing chair options. We loved the ping pong table, table football and boules area. The outside kit hen meant that we could cook and eat together sociably. The air con in the upstairs bedrooms was very welcome in the heatwave. A fabulous holiday!

Thank you for such a detailed review. The pool, the outdoor kitchen and the games area are exactly what the villa was set up for, so it is good to hear they all got used, and we are glad the air conditioning upstairs earned its keep in that heatwave. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back. Best regards, the Sleepaways team.

Great house in the North of Gran Canaria

We enjoyed our stay massively. The only downside is the location of the house. It is a bit colder in the North and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the freeway. But if you are looking for authenticity and a quiet stay, this is the spot to go to!

Thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay so much and appreciate your comments about the authentic and peaceful atmosphere our location offers. Regarding the distance to the freeway and the cooler climate in the north, we always recommend checking the location details on our website to ensure it fits guests’ preferences. Our goal is to provide a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We look forward to welcoming you again for another relaxing experience!

A gem in the mountains

Extremely clean, home from home environment. Everything you ever need is there. Everything you need outdoors to, including sunbeds and pool was awesome. Enjoyed the bbq, outdoor kitchen and outdoor space. Kids enjoyed table tennis, football table, swings and bowls. Everything you need is there, sunbeds and pool was awesome. Fantastic villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa La Linde. The villa is charming and the owners have clearly put a lot of love into the place. On arrival, everything was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed with cold drinks and fruit. The villa is very well equipped and we found it very comfortable. The only small issue is that the trees at the side of the property cast shade around the pool in the afternoons. This likely only happens in the winter months (we stayed late November) when the sun is lower in the sky. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Villa La Linde and appreciated the cleanliness, the amenities, and the small welcome details we prepare with great care. Indeed, during the winter months, the lower sun can cause some shaded areas around the pool in the afternoons, although this is usually just a seasonal detail. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again whenever you wish. Thank you for recommending us!

What a great villa .Pretty much everything you could wish for . Beautiful pool and outside kitchen give you the true feel of being on holiday. I can’t really think of anything bad to say . If you’re looking for relaxation away from the hustle of normal resorts then look no further . Just one thing I would recommend and that is to hire a car as you will need supplies . We spent a lot of time at the villa as my family is from the Islands and it was all about relaxation for us. I did see some negative comments about visitors ,the owner is very nice and will accommodate you all you have to do is ask. I have booked for next year and can’t wait .

We will be back!!

What a gorgeous treasure ! My little girl loved the facilities and so did us adults. Amazing heated pool with pool floats (could do we some more ). She loved the swings all to herself. We loved the outside games, foosbal, table tennis and bowls. We had some unfortunate bad weather but despite this, the villa made it. Lots to do even if you had to stay in. We managed to find local treasures ( villages/ towns nearby) we had a rental car. As up high in the mountains. We managed to see all of Gran Canaria in a week's trip. I loved the locals as we weren't staying in a touristy area. Beds extremely comfortable. All showers but my 5 year old managed with no bath. The sofa inside could do with being bigger especially if had to accommodate for 10 people. Wasn't the comfiest. Also, could do with a few spare keys for guests when staying as if one of us wanted to go out. We were locked out if leaving the key with someone else sitting around the pool. And no one ofcourse can hear you knocking on the secured locked gate. Also have to be very careful with little ones as if they shut the front door and the key is inside, then there is no other access inside the villa. The door locks you out once shut with no key. Very clean floors immaculate. Lots of toiletries including toilet rolls left for guests. Plenty of towels! The pool is heated and an amazing size. I just found it difficult not being able to reach the floor and play with my daughter who couldn't swim yet. Luckily there were a couple of pool floats for adults too. I very much enjoyed the outside kitchen. A huge paella dish along with lots of dishes were provided to cook in. I made a paella the 1st night outside :). Lots of herbs and spices provided. Tea coffee fruit and Meringues :) a few nice touches. Welcome beers too! On ice :). Thank you for a beautiful stay. Would love to return. Gorgeous location. Moya had a couple of spa shops too easy to get to with a car. Not safe to walk. Love Gran Canaria

Thank you very much for this review. A group of ten with everyone feeling comfortable is exactly what the villa was designed for, and we are glad the house, the garden and the pool lived up to it. The short drive to reach the rest of the island is the trade-off for that quiet setting, and most guests find it well worth it. We would be delighted to host you again. Best regards, the Sleepaways team.
