Excellent apartment in lovely Arta

This is a very comfortable apartment in a great location in the centre of Arta. The apartment is well furnished, spotlessly clean and has a balcony overlooking Arta's main street, with lovely views. Arta is a perfect base in this part of Mallorca, quiet and atmospheric but with a good selection of restaurants and cafés. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location.

Could not fault this apartment. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possible need. Joan was really helpful and available to contact throughout. The apartment looks out over the main street with a few restaurants, but there is no noise when the windows are shut. It is in a perfect position and the photographs do not do it justice. A fantastic apartment in a great location.

Lovely apartment, fantastic location

We are so happy we chose this apartment. It is a clean, spacious, bright and sunny apartment that has been decorated and furnished with care to provide a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owner, Joan, is very friendly and on hand if you need him. The location is ideal, right in the centre of Arta, at the end of the pedestrianised street with parking available on the road at the side. The balcony actually goes around the corner of the building - you can start with breakfast in the sun on one part and catch the evening sun with a gin and tonic from the other direction! We stayed for a week and the weather was fantastic throughout. We were spoilt for things to do - there are so many lovely walks, both along the coast and in the Natural Park and also some fantastic beaches to visit. Nothing was more than about 15 minutes in the car. A holiday here can be as energetic or relaxing as you like - would definitely recommend.

Terrific central apartment

We stayed for 10 nights in this great apartment. For us it ticked all the boxes. It was spotlessly clean, fresh, spacious, comfortable in a perfect central location. Everything was provided for a self catering stay. The weather was beautiful in the 30's but the evenings a pleasant 24-25. We didn't need to use the air conditioning which is in both bedrooms and living room. Instead we kept the bedroom windows open with the outside shutters closed. For us this was perfect. The balcony was great to sit out in the evening watching life in the street below. The balcony is quite spacious with table and chairs and a sun lounger as well as other easy chairs. Joan was excellent throughout our booking process, prompt replies and informative. It was lovely to meet him on arrival. He also had some very nice wine, waters and chocs for us. Arta is a lovely little town to visit if you want somewhere different from the tourist resorts. The restaurants are really good. We came across a lovely restaurant outside Arta while walking called Restaurante Sa Tafona de Son Fang. Its in the countryside in a beautiful setting. We walked to it in the evening in about 35 mins and got a taxi back. Great food, well worth a visit. We had great walks outside the town in the beautiful Mallorcan countryside. The via verde pathway (the old railway line now a walk, bike way) is also brilliant. We did some walking on it and also cycled. Bikes can be rented at the beginning of the pathway. The beaches on the coastline near Arta are beaututiful. Its rugged coastline, again great for walking. The water is the most stunning colour. We loved Cala Mitjani and Cala Torte. Casual beaches, no rows of sunbeds, great! Overall I would highly recommend Joan's apartment in Arta and hope to return on another occasion.

great flat for a stay in Artá

Lovely spacious flat at the beginning of the pedestrian street. Clean, bright rooms with lots of wardrobe space for clothes and suitcases. The balcony is much bigger than it looks in the photos and can easily seat 4 around the table for lunch or dinner and it gets a good amount of sun during the day. The kids loved the games and puzzles in the drawers and their welcome Haloween present! The kitchen is well equipped and we really appreciated having washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs provided (the only thing I would have liked extra was a small vegetable/fruit knife as the big ones are tricky for peeling). Lovely soft towels and cosy duvets and the heating works well to heat the place quickly when the evening gets chilly. As for the town and area itself... There's a supermarket right downstairs which is good for buying things but they do sometimes wake you up in the morning with deliveries. There's a great Italian restaurant opposite which is really relaxed about sharing pizzas/dishes if you just want a light meal and a great German bakery too (great german pastries and bread with a high German clientele). For coffee we went for the more down to earth, less tourist-oriented place on the main square (on the left as you enter from the pedestrian street). Artá itself is a nice town but very dominated by Germans (both locals and tourists). There are beautiful beaches nearby but you ought to check wind direction before you choose where to go because the north winds can be quite strong. I recommend Cala Mesquida (amazing dunes), Cala Sa Marjál (be careful it gets deep quickly) and Canyamel for easy access and duck spotting. around Colónia de Sant Pere there are also lovely coves (the walk from the port around the coast to Arenal de Sa Canova is lovely) but they can be windy (at this time of year at least) and some are a tortuous drive along windy roads and very bumpy tracks (eg. Cala Torta area). Finally, a thank you to Joán for his help and hospitality (especially meeting us on a local holiday day), we were very happy we chose this place.

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage

Die Wohnung und auch der Balkon sind größer als es auf den Bildern wirkt. Die Einrichtung ist modern und mit Liebe zum Detail. Der Balkon ist natürlich ein Highlight und wir haben oft dort gesessen und das Geschehen beobachtet. Die Lage mitten in Artá fanden wir toll. Diverse Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte quasi direkt vor der Haustür. Und Dienstags ist man mitten auf dem Markt, wenn man zur Tür rauskommt. Natürlich muss einem klar sein, dass es nicht sehr ruhig ist. Abends hört man die Gastronomie vor der Tür und Morgens wird man bei offenem Fenster vom Lieferverkehr des Supermarkts geweckt, der sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses befindet. Ein weiterer Nachteil der Lage ist, dass man nicht gut parken kann. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz ist allerdings ca. 700 Meter entfernt. Da wir Artá vorher schon kannten und uns beides bewusst war, hat es uns nicht gestört. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man die Geräusche übrigens auch kaum noch und die Klimaanlagen in jedem Raum ermöglichen dass auch ohne Probleme. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten hätten wir zu bemängeln, die aber in unserer Bewertung keine Rolle spielen, da sie leicht zu beheben oder zu umgehen sind. Wir haben einen Wasserkocher und Geschirrhandtücher vermisst und die Messer waren alle zu stumpf um harte Wurst zu schneiden. Und der Wäscheständer war leider kaputt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen und die Wohnung auch Freunden empfehlen.

Great base for exploring Artà and around

Nice apartment in very central location, clean and perfectly equipped. Nice owner with great communication. Supermarket, however, very noisy from 7am on. Also, parking sometimes difficult because you have to look for parking spaces on the street.

Bardzo przestronne mieszkanie, czyste, ładnie urządzone. Łóżka bardzo wygodne, kuchnia bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Jest wszystko czego potrzeba. W lodówce czekało na nas pyszne winko i czekoladki. Właściciel bardzo pomocny, udzielał cennych wskazówek. Polecamy to miejsce :-)

Tolles Appartement

Ein wirklich tolles Appartement mit einer super Ausstattung! Die Kommunikation war schnell und einfach! Artà ist bislang nicht komplett vom Massentourismus eingenommen. Trotzdem sollten Ruhesuchende bedenken, dass es im Sommer schon mal später werden kann, bis die Straßen leer sind. Die Lage mitten in Artà war für uns jedoch perfekt! Vielen Dank an Joan für die tolle Abwicklung! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Die Wohnung ist, wie schon oft beschrieben, hell, großzügig, blitzsauber und modern eingerichtet. Lage super zentral ! Vacanza in Arta': arte e mare a portata di mano

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Tutti i servizi elencati nella recensione erano effettivamente presenti. Appartamento molto ampio. Wifi sempre funzionante,TV con possibilità di accedere a Netflix- con il proprio account-, frigorifero grande, condizionatore in sala e nelle camere (e lo abbiamo usato quotidianamente in agosto). Supermercato al piano terra e ristoranti a due passi. Spiagge stupende a 15/20 minuti di auto. Jouan è stato molto disponibile e non ha avuto problemi a farci trovare nell'appartamento un ombrellone per la spiaggia e a organizzare un cambio di lenzuola a metà del ns soggiorno di due settimane. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche Arta'. Nel tardo pomeriggio potevamo girovagare tra i negozietti e poi cenare nei ristoranti tipici: tutto sotto casa. L'appartamento è al secondo piano e le finestre sono ben isolate e quindi una volta chiuse non ci sono particolari problemi con i rumori esterni: solo al mattino presto (verso le 7) si sentono un po' i carrelli del magazzino del supermercato ma noi siamo dei mattinieri e quindi non è stato un grande disturbo. Benché l'appartamento sia a ridosso dell'area pedonale siamo sempre riusciti a trovare parcheggio nella strada di fronte. In sintesi consigliamo caldamente questa location.

Arta ist wunderschön ruhig, Wohnung ist gut gelegen und modern eingerichtet

Wir hatten guten Kontakt mit Joan (Vermieter), er hat uns bei Anfragen gute Geheimtipps gegeben. Bad ist toll, die Schlafzimmer gut (die Matratzen waren teilweise zu weich), Küche für eine FeWo sehr gut ausgestattet, Wohnzimmer würde selten benutzt, da wir abends nur auf dem großen Balkon gesessen haben mit Blick auf Arta Castle und Kirche. Traumhaft. Einzigster Minuspunkt: Supermarkt ist ab 7 Uhr laut !

Logement lumineux. Bien placé.

Logement intéressant, spacieux, bien équipé. Accueil efficace par Joan. Boissons fraiches et chocolats.. merci! Terrasse avec vue sur le sanctuaire. .Central dans Arta et au début de la rue piétonne. Bruit de la rue très différents fonction des soirées. Mais ville plutôt calme. À savoir, supermarché au rez-de-chaussée de l'immeuble qui, en fonction de la saison, peut démarrer son activité tôt (7h). Poubelles à déposer à 1.6km. Linge de lit: peut mieux faire. Draps fournis très fins et pas de rechange. Pas d'alaise et pas de housse de couettes. Lit kingsize fait avec 2 lits en 90 réunis par 1 drap fin.

Schöne Wohnung in schöner Lage

Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns optimal. Es gibt zahlreiche gute Restaurants, Bäcker, schöne Geschäfte und nicht zu vergessen, die tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse. Wir haben auch im Januar die Terrasse zum Frühstücken und kurzem Sonnenbad nutzen können. Die Wohnung ist groß und gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Der Vermieter Joan war sehr freundlich und sofort erreichbar. Leckerer Wein, Wasser, und Schokolade waren von ihm in der Wohnung bereitgestellt. Das Bad ist groß und die Badewanne herrlich. Beheizt wird die Wohnung überwiegend über die Klimaanlage, nur im Bad sind Heizkörper, diese läuft dann wenn es kalt ist ständig, dass sollte man wissen. Die Post und der Lebensmittelladen wurden morgens beliefert, was man schon sehr deutlich hört, uns hat’s nicht gestört. Wir haben das urbane spanische Ambiente genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Selbst Parken war immer in unmittelbarer Nähe möglich.

Sehr schöne Wohnung im Zentrum Artas.

Guter Ausgangspunkt zu den schönsten Stränden Mallorcas.

sehr zentrale, saubere und großzügig eingerichtete Wohnung

das absolute Highlight ist der große Balkon mit Blick auf die Fußgängerzone. Hier haben wir die meiste Zeit verbracht, vom gemütlichen Frühstück, mittags Siesta in den bequemen Liegestühlen oder Abends bei einem Gläschen Wein. Die Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen, Infrastruktur darum herum überkomplett und Joan hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und für eine unkomplizierte Abwicklung gesorgt. Wir kommen jedenfalls gerne wieder.

Tolle, große, sehr gepflegte Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und um einiges größer als auf den Fotos zu sehen. Ansonsten entspricht sie voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und man kann toll auf der Terrasse sitzen, wenn unten die Menschen in den Cafés sitzen. Jederzeit gern wieder!

Mehr als auf den Fotos zu sehen

Wir waren ganz beeindruckt von der Wohnung, da sie größer ist als auf den Fotos zu erkennen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und hat eine wirklich gute Lage!

tolle Wohnung

Wir wurden sehr nett von Joan empfangen! Die Wohnung ist klasse und lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Einzig gestört hat uns der Supermarkt im Erdgeschoss der (täglich?) mit Ware beliefert wird. Und zwar morgens früh. Wir haben uns dort aber trotzdem sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit dem W-Lan. Da hat Joan sich sogar über die Ostertage mit beschäftigt und Abhilfe geleistet so gut es ging!! Die Wohnung liegt sehr Zentral und bietet somit viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen im Umland. Vielen Dank für eine tollen Urlaub in der Sonne :-)

Wunderbar

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Fußgängerzone in Artà. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe zu finden. Schöne Restaurants und Geschäfte befinden sich in fußläufiger Umgebung. Am Dienstag findet direkt vor der Tür ein Markt statt. Am Morgen ab halb acht wird der Supermarkt unten im Gebäude beliefert. Bei geöffneten Fenstern ist das deutlich zu hören. Wir fanden es nicht störend. Schräg gegenüber ist ein guter Bäcker. Die Wohnung ist großzügig aufgeteilt und man findet alles was gebraucht wir (z.B. reichlich Handtücher, zwei verschiedene Kaffeemaschinen, Gewürze...). Die Einrichtung ist gut und ordentlich. Alles war sauber. Der Vermieter war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die "Heizungen" konnten im Februar die Wohnung gut warm halten. Durch den Fliesenboden im Wohnbereich und der Küche, sind Hausschuhe im Winter empfehlenswert.

We are glad you liked our apartment. It's important for us that guests know the apartment is recommended also in winter. And also say that Artà can be enjoyed throughout the year. Restaurants and shops are open. And in winter it is very quiet and charming. Thank you very much! Be happy!
