Spacious house on the edge of the Peak District

A large Spacious property built in 1840 for the Station master of Midland Railway, the house is well equipped for large parties.

Our house enjoys views over the Derwent Valley and has a private rear terrace perfect for outdoor dining with the inbuilt BBQ and outdoor seating.

It makes a fine base to explore the peak district and is located a stones throw away from Ambergate train station making travel by train really easy.

Great family getaway accommodation

Lovely spacious property, In a lovely area.Well equipped all round. Lisa paid attention to detail and we loved all the little touches around the place. Would definitely recommend to others.....

Familiar get together !

Lovely property. Great location . Fantastic outdoor space, undercover available. As a group of 8 teens and 8 adults , we loved it!

Friends weekend away

Had a great stay at Lisa’s place. Excellent common spaces and rear terrace, well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms (except the 3 x single room felt a bit cramped - best for smaller children rather than adults or near adults). Terrific value for money 👍

Family holiday

Excellent accommodation for our three generational family holiday. The table football was well used by the younger and not so young family members. Plenty of pans, cutlery and crockery. Comfortable sofas for all the family. We had a verycomfortable stay.

Great family Christmas

We had everything we needed, the place was amazing for entertaining. The table football was a great hit and the wood stove kept us all toasty. The station is a very short walk away where we took the train into Matlock Bath and had good fun. Would definitely recommend this house
