Sleeps 2 -4. Stone & log cabin with traditional grass roof. The cabin is self catering.
One bedroom with double bed plus a double sofa bed.
Cabin has fully fitted kitchen (with kettle, coffee machine, toaster etc) , shower room/WC, under-floor heating. Free use of WiFi, BBQ, rowing boat, fishing gear and bicycles & sledges in winter. DVD player in cabin + movies you can borrow. A car is recommended, although not absolutely necessary. It is a 3 hour drive from Bergen city centre (3,5 hours from Bergen Airport) Public transport from Bergen by coach or ferry.

Five stars is not enough for the stone cabin in Ortnevik! The one bedroom cabin is so charming. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals and the bed is comfortable. The property is incredibly beautiful and there are interesting hikes right from the cabin. Just a quick walk away you’ll find an amazing wood sculpture garden that will blow your mind. Eldar was very helpful with check in and with advice on where to hike and walk. The small store in town has limited hours but a surprising amount of supplies for a small place. But if you have the option it is likely best to grocery shop in a larger town before arrival. At the cabin I felt I could be away from it all and see the real Norway. Thank you Eldar for sharing your wonderful property with us

Nice cabin

Nice, simple property. Be warned there is a significant walk up a steep hill to get to the cabin from your car, so prepare with luggage accordingly. We had a nice stay for two nights. There is plenty around to explore, especially if you rent a car..

Cute tiny hut

We enjoyed our stay in the stone cabin. The surrounding is very quite and relaxing, and the view on the fjord is just wonderful.

Atemberaubende Landschaft in gemütlicher, ruhiger Hütte genießen

Inmitten toller Landschaft, abgelegen, ruhig, aber gut erreichbar, viele hilfreiche Infos in der Ferienwohnung zu Zielen/Möglichkeiten vor Ort, freundliche Gastgeber. Gerne wieder!

Perfect Norway getaway

The hosts are very friendly and responsive to be sure you have all you need for your stay. Ortnevik is beautiful and not to be missed. There is boating, hiking, fishing, biking,a wonderfully outdoor getaway.

Toller Aufenthalt

Sehr nette Hütte (Stone Cabin), Auto wird ein hundert Meter abwärts geparkt. Fußbodenheizung, Internet und atemberaubender Blick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Endreinigung über die Gäste und Bettzeug mitbringen. Die Fähre nach Vik war in der Saison für Autos ausgebucht, besser frühzeitig buchen! Man ist wirklich sehr abgeschieden, da die Verkehrsanbindung schwierig ist. Wir mochten das. Vermieter gut zu erreichen, gerne wieder!

Reisezeit Juni - Perfekt für zwei Persoen mit großem Hund

Malerisch am Waldrand gelegen mit Blick auf den Fjord. Optimal ausgestattete kleine Hütte mit Fußbodenheizung. Perfekt für uns zwei Persoen und unseren Berner Sennenhund. Vermieter bei Sonderwünschen gut erreichbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great cabin in a superb location!

The Cabin just looks like something you'de imagine from a fairytale (in a positve way obviously).... and the location on the slopes of a hill is absolutely superb looking out over the Sognefjord. The cabin has everything you need and the owners are very nice and polite.

Virkelig anbefalelsesværdigt. Så smukt et sted med gode vandreruter. Skal opleves. Stone Cabin er den mindste hytte, men man kan sagtens være fire (vi var to voksne og to børn på 8). Vi glæder os allerede til at besøge stedet igen.

An- und Abreise waren problemlos, im Ort konnten wir auch einkaufen und ein anspruchsvolle Wanderung in der Umgebung werden wir nicht vergessen (Karten mit Beschreibung waren vor Ort) Wir kommen sicherlich nochmal vorbei!!!

Zauberhafte kleine Steinhütte

Wir haben ein paar wundervolle Tage in Norwegen verbracht. Wenn es draußen geregnet hat, haben wir es uns in der warmen Hütte gemütlich gemacht. Es war alles da was man braucht. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Idyllic Cabin

The stone cabin is located in a small idyllic place. The cabin is located on the edge of the forest and offers a wonderful gigantic view over the Sognefjord. The Check-In was very easy and the cabin was absolutely clean on our arrival. We spent 9 nights there and felt comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, so we could have good self catering. The environment is very quiet - exactly what we were looking for. The area is very quiet and offers beautiful landscapes and nature, especially the Norwegian mountains and waterfalls. Eldar is a good host and always helpful if we had any questions. All people in Ortnevik were very friendly to us. We recommend hiking in Ortnevik. There are many hiking trails and beautiful views. Thanks for this nice place and the nice stone cabin!

Super nette und ruhige Unterkunft

Alles hat total unkompliziert funktioniert. Die Hütte ist sehr schön und urig, wenn auch einfach. Alles ist vorhanden - inkl top WLAN. Man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten beim ersten Wanderpfad. Einfach perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in der Natur.

Sehr nette fürsorgliche Vermieter. Super Lage. Zuwegung ist Herausforderung. Bett zu eng. Ausstattung in der Hütte ok. Laden im Dorf und Anbindung mit Fähre ist gut.

Perfect verblijf in Noorwegen

Voor drie personen hadden we gekozen voor de stenen blokhut. Het was perfect naar onze wensen. In het dorp zelf was niet heel veel te doen. Wel prachtige natuur waar we mooi hebben kunnen wandelen. Eldar had de Hottub al voor ons aangezet, wat echt op een prachtige locatie zit met een prachtig uitzicht. Ook in de avond met veel sterren, helemaal super. De stenen blokhut had alleen vloerverwarming, dus wel met een beetje hoofdpijn wakker geworden, raampje in de douche/toilet was ook erg klein. Voor de rest echt perfect huisje voor een weekend, we zouden graag terugkomen!

Lovely place!

Adecuada Al entorno, acogedor, magnificas vistas, equipado, insuperable

Lo único que nos faltó fue tiempo para disfrutar mas de todo cuanto ofrece este Lugar. No dejamos de sentir admiracion por todo lo que vimos. Doy gracias por que aun existan estos sitios donde la mano del hombre no se impone sobre la magnificencia del mundo. Fuimos dos personas y estuvimos 5 dias, Eldar estubo pendiente a nuestras dudas y nos espero a que lleguemos, Gracias por todo y lo recomendamos, no Se arrepentiran. Juan y Nain
