Hi, I’m Claire, and I’ll be your host during your stay. While I won’t be on-site, I’m always available via message or phone if you need anything. I’m also happy to share tips and recommendations to help you make the most of your time in Cardiff.

I run Switchback Stays, a local business offering a selection of stylish, self-contained apartments across Cardiff. Having lived in the city for over 20 years, I know the area inside out and love helping guests feel at home here.

Outside of hosting, my background is in sport—specifically tennis. I’ve been a coach for over 20 years and have proudly represented Great Britain multiple times (2019–2025) at the ITF Masters World Team Championships.

We take pride in offering our guests a top-quality experience and a warm welcome to this brilliant city.

We chose this area because it offers the perfect blend of peace and convenience. It’s a quiet, leafy neighbourhood that feels residential and relaxed, yet you’re just a short walk or drive from Cardiff city centre.

It’s also close to Pontcanna, one of our favourite parts of the city—with its independent coffee shops, bakeries, pubs, and restaurants, there’s always somewhere great to eat or explore.

It’s a spot we’d happily stay in ourselves—and we think you’ll love it too.
