Liakoto Stonewall House First floor is an apartment that combines traditional Cretan architecture with modern. Combining the rough texture of Cretan natural stones mixed with the warmth of wooden roofs and bright colors. Liakoto villa is designed with a focus on simplicity and nature.

Interior, the appartment comprises panoramic views of the blue crystal waters of the sea and the majestic sunsets. This unique apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and can accommodate 4 people. The main hall consists of a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a living room with stone fireplace, sofa, TV, stereo. The master bedroom is spacious and accomodated with a queen size bed and a big wardrobe, and the second bedroom is also acomodated with a big wardrobe and two single beds ideal for kids or teenagers. The best part of the apartment is the big front balcony equiped with a big table that allows you to enjoy the view of the pool, the garden and the village anytime you want.

Liakoto Villa's outdoor area comprises of a big swimming pool with jacuzzi, sunbathing area with sunbeds and umbrellas, a beautibull garden with trees and plants from the cretan nature and a fully equipped barbeque area.

The Villa is located at the foothills 5min drive from Makrigialos village in southern Crete. The apartment is ideally situated in nature and you can easily access the picturesque village of Makri Gialos, the beautiful Pefki Gorge and the crystal-clear sandy beaches of Southern Crete.

Liakoto Villa is the best place to relax and soothe your mind from everyday routine.

Memories of Makrigialis

A lovely property overlooking Makrigialos Bay! Balcony was perfect for breakfasts, lunches and family time after our evening meal in a wide variety of tavernas across the area. The pool is perfect for a gentle swim or family games and the enclosed jacuzzi at one end added to the relaxing experience. Eleni, our host, could not have been more helpful. She provided a fabulous welcome package and detailed information about the area. Through chatting with her we were able to choose a variety of beaches to visit. We loved Staoysa beach, rocky but great for snorkelling and its idyllic taverna at the top - Oasis. The food is fresh, authentic and the setting is beautiful and all the better for being away from the more touristy tavernas we visited in Makrigialos. We would definitely recommend a visit to Chrissi Island, on a smaller boat to get the full experience, and a trip to Xerokampos with its stunning sandy beach, on the east side of the island. Also, a trip up the mountain along a windy road to the taverna in Pethki is not one to miss! A car is essential to enable you to fully experience this beautiful part of Crete. We decided against the 24 minute walk to the local beach (much longer coming back we decided) and instead we explored by car - resulting in a far richer and more enjoyable holiday experience !

Absolutely wonderful place for a peaceful vacation

All three of us absolutely loved this place. The apartment provided for all possible comfort and the spacious outside covered terrace was the perfect place to relax or enjoy breakfast or dinner. We very much enjoyed and appreciated the tranquility and privacy of the location. The beaches and cozy village was nearby and easily accessible. Our host was super friendly, responsive and accommodating. This was definitely one of the nicest and most enjoyable places we ever rented.

A lovely villa

A great holiday in this lovely villa . We took both villas as there were two family groups which worked really well. The facilities are great, with everything we needed and fantastic sea views and a private pool. Eleni and her family were so friendly and helpful with making recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The welcome pack was also lovely and probably the best we have ever had and the welcome following a late flight was also much appreciated. The location of the villa is a little out of Makry Gialos but we did manage the 20 Minute plus walk (check Google map for path) on a few occasions and Makry Gialos has some great restaurants. We also loved Green Beach and the taverna there ( one of Eleni’s recommendations.) So thank you again for a great holiday

Entspanntes Feriendomizil

Mit Pool, herrlichem Meerblick und zwischendurch auch mal mit Klimaanlage lässt sich der heiße Sommer Kretas perfekt genießen. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Toll ist auch der Willkommensgruß mit verschiedenen Lebensmitteln, sodass man von Anfang an bestens versorgt ist.

Super séjour dans un région sympa de la crête

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Giannis et sa femme, qui nous ont très bien accueilli. La vue sur Makry Gialos est très jolie. Ce petit village balnéaire a beaucoup de charme et les plages des alentours sont magnifiques.
