Great place with a magnificent view

We felt really comfortable for a fortnight and enjoyed our time. It was exactly the right place from which to experience the many sights of the region - whether Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Paestum or the Amalfi Coast. We can only recommend a visit there!

Dependance getaway

Beautiful views and unique property which is in the hills above the town. Claudio and Giovanna were very welcoming and helpful. The use of the villa pool was a real plus. I would recommend!

Wonderful apartment in a villa above Cava

We loved our stay in Cava. Even though we had some technical hiccups in the beginning, our host were quick to fix it all and they were super friendly and helpful in all this. The apartment is indeed special: You can tell that it has been built by an architect. But the best is of course the view over the hills and onto a bit of the Mediterranean. Cava is a great location to explore the area. We went by e-bike to Vietri and Salerno. You can take a boat to the Amalfi coast from there. Naples is a short train ride from Cava (better not go there by car) and Pompeji is only 30 minutes on the highway. We can only recommend staying at this apartment.

Es war wunderbar. Netterweise stellte man uns den Pool zur Verfügung und die sehr netten Gastgeber luden uns sogar zum Aperitif ein und schenkten uns ein Glas selbst gemachter Marmelade. Zudem eine schöne Wohnung in wunderbarer Lage. Besser geht's nicht.

Das idyllische Ferienhaus besitzt einen idealen Grundriss und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Es liegt erhaben über der Stadt, eingebettet in eine Berglandschaft mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick bis zum Meer. Ein Liegestuhl, ein Fleckchen im Schatten, ein leichtes Lüftchen weht, umgeben von üppiger Vegetation. In der Ferne ab und zu Glockengeläut, Hundegebell und hin und wieder Geräusche eines entfernt vorbeifahrenden Autos, so unerhört beruhigend friedlich lässt sich das Leben genießen. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich, stehen für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung und sind trotzdem kaum zu sehen. Zum Hause führt ein schmaler, teils stark gekrümmter, steiler und uneinsichtiger Straßenzug. Dies sollte man bei der Auswahl seines Reisefahrzeuges beachten. :-) Schreckmomente und gleichzeitig jede Menge Spaß begleiten die Fahrten.

Gute Lage und mit tollem Ausblick

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub über die Osterwochen in dem Anwesen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von Cava aus gut zu erreichen (Vesuv, Pompeji, Herculaneum, Neapel, Salerno, Amalfi, Capri, ...).

Viel Platz und Ruhe in wunderschöner Umgebung!

Wir wurden von den sehr freundlichen Vermietern am Treffpunkt (Achtung: Standort wird bei Apple falsch angezeigt; Google Maps verwenden!) abgeholt und zum Appartement begleitet. Dort wurde uns nicht nur alles wichtige in Bezug auf die Wohnung erklärt, sondern wir haben auch gleich viele nützliche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt bekommen. Die Vermieter sind immer ansprechbar und wir durften sogar bis zum Eintreffen der Feriengäste in der Villa oberhalb den sehr gepflegten Pool benutzen. Die Ferienwohnung selbst bietet viel Platz und eine herrliche Aussicht in die Berge und bis zum Meer. Es gibt nicht nur eine große Terrasse, sondern auch noch Wiesen mit Bäumen und Liegestühlen ums Haus. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und die Kräuter durften wir zum Kochen verwenden. Ein zusätzlicher Service sind Spül- und Waschmaschine. Aber nun das Wichtigste: Die Ferienwohnung bietet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für Touren entlang der Amalfiküste oder zu den Ausgrabungsstätten Pompeji, Herculaneum, Paestum etc. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und möchten uns ganz herzlich für alles bedanken!

Excellent and relaxing stay, with car you are closed to hundreds of excursions

Excellent place for families. Pool is warm and very big. But to share with the complete complex. The lower apartment (we stayed in) has everything and is beautiful designed. The Terrasse with the barbecue place invites totally for a big asado. If there is something to complain... You need a car to arrive or a lot of time for walking and public transport. Thanks to Claudio and his family. They are super nice and help, where ever help is needed. (Six stars)

Amalfi coast is overrated

The house has a beautifull terrace with agreat view, big swimming pool and many space indoor and outdoor. House arranged with a taste and in a good style. Disadvantages: - old dirty showers with very low water pressure, not possible to take a comfortable shower, feeling as if there was no water - we had a request to get two addtitional towels and badsheets - the owner rejected our request, it was really strange - the owner was walking around our property almost every day - it was really uncomfortable, we've rented houses every year for 6 years and it happended to us first time; no privacy We wouldn't come back to this house.

Bon séjour A Cava

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la maison (dependance) de Mr Claudio qui nous a attendu tard à notre arrivée et nous a aidé à trouver un garagiste lui et son fils ont toujours répondu présent et rapidement à nos demandes la maison est superbe décorée avec goût sur les hauteurs de Cava la voiture est indispensable si vous voulez bouger acces facile de Cava à beaucoup de centre d interet .Naples n est que a 40 minutes en voiture. Pompéi. La cote amalfitaine de solento qui est à 30 minutes en voiture ou il y a des acces plages moins onéreux que vers minori ou maori a sorrente. il y a tout ce sont on peut avoir besoin dans la maison machine à laver comprise a noter il n y a pas de micro onde .ni de bouilloire (seulement une petite cafetière italienne qui nous a suffit à 2 mais à plus risque un peu juste ). L acces a la maison se fait par un chemin sur le côté de la maison principale donc indépendant de la maison cette location ne pourrait pas correspondre à des personnes a mobilité réduite pour nous aucun soucis seul bémol l'accès à la piscine n est pas direct de la dépendance mais devant la maison principale au-dessus le jardin est soigné et la piscine est propre Nous remercions monsieur Claudio et son fils pour leur aide et accueil .

Très agréable et hôtes très bien

Nous étions dans la dépendance. Ne vous méprenez pas, il s'agit d'une vrai maison très bien située et en haut d'une colline avec une vue magnifique. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et super agréable. La piscine était très sympa et de taille largement suffisante. Le restaurant à 700m la baita offre une superbe vue et des super pizzas. Ce qu'il faut vraiment noté ici c'est la grande disponibilité et la sympathie de Claudio et Riccardo. Toujours disponibles (même à 1h du matin) et apportent des solutions à vos demandes. Merci à vous 2.

Great family holiday!

We are a family of five and there was plenty of room in here for us all. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the views from the villa are breath taking. The pool is a lovely size and the sharing arrangement with the adjoining villa works well. We visited Pompeii very easily as it is only 30/40 minutes drive from here. Visiting the Amalfi Coast is also very easy with ferries and boat trips from Salerno. We also took a day trip to Rome from Salerno, using the high speed rail link that only took 2 hours. Claudio, Joanna and Riccardo are wonderful hosts and it was obvious from the moment we arrived they just wanted us to enjoy ours selves and have fun. Any enquiries or requirements we had were answered very promptly as they give you their mobile numbers, a quick text and anything is sorted fast. I take this opportunity to thank Claudio, Joanna and Riccardo for a fantastic stay and a brilliant first holiday in Italy. We will most definitely return.

Rustic Apartment in the Hills

The apartment is located in a beautiful setting, with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and villages. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The owner, his wife and son are friendly and helpful. We had a few issues, namely that a number of items included in the itinerary were missing, after pointing these out, all but one, namely a microwave were provided. The television developed a serious fault and was replaced. The en-suite shower to the main bedroom developed a fault and was not repaired. At the beginning of our second week the water in the pool turned green and could not be used for the remainder of the holiday. The apartment does not have air conditioning and during our first week the rooms were fairly comfortable, when the maximum outside temperature was between 24 and 27 degrees, however the maximum outside temperature increased to 32 degrees in the second week and the room temperature was not so comfortable. It should be noted that due to the profusion of vegetation around the apartment, there a a high possibility of being bitten by insects. The patio/barbecue area is pleasant, but spoilt by an infestation of ants. The drive up to the apartment from Cava di Tirreni is difficult, due to the lack of signposts, narrow twisting roads and the temperament of the local drivers.

Amazing place for amazing holidays

Location: High above Cava with wonderful view over valley and sea It is rather remote - a little bit difficult to reach The dependence itself: You can clearly see that Claudio is an architect and that his wife has very fine taste when it comes to decoration. Very spacious rooms with big windows, kitchen very well equipped and modern, three bathrooms with breathtaking (!) installations. Erverything in best condition and it is very easy to feel at home here :) Large terasse with outdoor bbq, pool and garden. You can see that the hosts put in a lot of effort to keep everything in the best condition (e.g. the pool is cleaned on a regular basis). Everything even better than the pictures can show! Hosts: Claudio and Giovanna are the most welcoming hosts you can imagine. They do their best to make your stay unforgettable. You can always call them - and little problems are immediately solved. All in all we can full-heartedly recommend you to spend your holidays in this little paradise! :)

Beautiful hilltop apartment

Lovely clean apartment, full of character and perfectly sized and equipped for the four of us. Delightful terrace garden with views south down to the coast, sunny in early morning but nicely shady in the heat of the day. Great pool and sun terrace (above apartment, shared with villa), larger than we had expected and fantastic to cool off in after a days sightseeing. Great location to explore Campania but car essential; 10-15 minutes from apartment down twisty narrow streets to the autostrada, then loads of interest within easy striking distance. Very friendly and helpful owners, quick to resolve any queries or issues. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
