A lovely rustic place. Great pool. Fantastic village with bars and restaurants 10 minutes walk away. Not really a place to do cooking in the kitchen - not enough utensils etc. Could do with a spruce up - broken sun beds and not enough shade provision. But none of this spoilt our holiday. Car recommended to take full advantage of what island has to offer. Owners organised transfers from airport to house and car hire which was very helpful. Owners always quick to respond to queries. Recommended!!

A lovely farmhouse in a great location close to 2 lovely little villages. Farmhouse is massive, with a lovely balcony to the front of the farmhouse both up and down stairs. 3 good sized rooms, all with en-suites and air con units which worked really well. Pool is a great size (12m) and terrace area v large. A little TLC needed around the edges to make it 5 out of 5, but all in all, would certainly head back. Hosts really helpful both before and during.

Wonderful holiday in lovely town!

We enjoyed having the house with all we needed in this quiet town location. Used the beautiful pool every day, although in April the water was cold it was still a treat to swim! Great bar in Nadur town too!

The property is in a perfect location for exploring Gozo. We found it easy to jump on the local buses and we also jumped on the fast ferry to Valleta twice. The pool was amazing. Thank you.

a great family option

A peaceful gem – perfect for a family holiday! We had a wonderful stay at Mounsey 1 Farmhouse near Nadur. The property is beautifully restored, spacious, and full of character, with a fantastic private pool and sun terrace that our whole family loved. The open-plan layout made it ideal for relaxing together, and each bedroom having its own en-suite was a real bonus. It’s in a quiet, scenic location, which makes it perfect for unwinding – but do note that a car is definitely essential if you want to explore the island or get to shops and beaches easily. Nadur and Qala are nearby and full of charm, with lovely bakeries and restaurants. The hosts were helpful and responsive, and the house had everything we needed. It felt like a true home away from home.We will certainly hope to return in the future – highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful family escape in Gozo!

Convenient location near ferry to malta

Lovely property & pool in a convenient location near the ferry terminal to mainland Malta. Really close to the town of qala which has restaurants & bars in the centre. The kitchen, which was very small, didn’t really have enough cooking utensils in it. So if you’re planning to cook a lot of meals this isn’t the place for you. The pool & pool area were spacious & there were just enough sun beds for the 5 of us in our party. The property backs onto a stable & farm so there are a lot of horse noises coming from next door but, once you get used to it, it didn't bother us. An extra fan was provided in the downstairs living area to help with the heat which was much appreciated. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom was really good too & kept us cool at night but the other two rooms ceiling fans didn’t work as well. Both balconies gave stunning sea views. All bedrooms come with en-suite which were clean & adequate. Only thing that was disappointing was that some of the towels, although clean, were abit stained. Overall I would definitely recommend this property to a friend & would stay again.
