Good holiday setting, relaxed feel to the location, Lots of facilities on site to do and things to do nearby too.Only down side would be the lodge could have done with a bit more cleaning. We found sweets, rappers and rubbish inside the lodge. The mats on the table were also greasy and dirty. We also had a used towel which had been left there. These were reported to reception who did remove the towel. We had cleaned the rest already.

They were covered in cobwebs/spiders and general dust and dirt. The sofas could also do with new cushion padding for sitting on as these were very 'thin'. Apart from these everything was value for money.

We did find problems with our accommodation, the main one (the element in the oven had come down) we logged with reception. They sent someone out straight away but they didn't actually fix it, they just moved the top shelf down 1 level. It meant that anything that was on the top shelf burnt within minutes, and anything in the middle or bottom took about an hour to cook.Apart from that, our lodge was excellent and we loved the layout and the space in the living area! We had an enormous decked area, with a fantastic view. I would definitely try to book this same lodge again if we are able to come again!The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant when we came down as a group with our friends who were also staying at Cheddar Woods. At the beginning of our stay there were 13 of us, then from the Monday, there were 10 of us. The staff were amazing and always managed to get us seated together. The food was amazing and always served altogether and all piping hot!Thank you all very much for making our holiday a memorable one!

We had a great time at the resort, the place was ideally situated for everything we wanted to do. The lodge was spacious and had all what we needed and the spa area also had all the amenities for anything you wanted to do. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was very good. My only gripe was that in the outside play area for the children, there was a football area to close to the childrens play area and the goal was that end, so at times the ball was going into the play area at times at quite a rate of knots. So in my opinion the goal should be changed to the other end or put a giant net up to stop the ball going into the play area. I could see someone getting smashed in the face or quite hurt. You have a lovely place and we would visit again.
