Given its privileged location, Casa das Falcoeiras is close to several points of interest – tourist, shopping, restaurants and bars, with the advantage of being able to easily get around on foot. It also has a unique view of the S. Roque Channel, where tourist boats – the famous Moliceiros – sail.
"Casa das Falcoeiras" is located in the Fish Market area, with a wide range of traditional and modern restaurants, as well as bars and snack bars.
In front of the accommodation is the Cais dos Remadores Olímpicos, crossed by 4 bridges, highlighting the Ponte dos Botirões (circular structure suspended by metal rods) and the Ponte dos Carcavelos (in stone with a single arch), also known as the “Valentine’s Bridge”.
Parallel to the pier and the accommodation there is an excellent pedestrian area, which invites you to take beautiful walks or take the famous BUGA (Free Use Bicycle of Aveiro), with exercise machines and a children's playground.

Fine location for quiet neighborhood and access to salt flats and also to downtown and pedestrian plazas. Very clean and nicely supplied accommodation. Attentive host.

A Wonderful Stay, A Terrific Host

The apartment is located right at one of the small channels. It's light and airy and has everything you need. It's a five-minute walk to many of the sites you want to see. But let me say that Paula is probably the BEST host I have ever had with VRBO. There were fires going on around Aveiro, threatening her own home, but she made sure that we had everything we needed and checked in with us.

Aveiro

The apartment was very clean with a very nice view of one of the Canals. My husband and I wandered all over Aveiro marveling at the Art Deco houses and the Tles on many of the houses. We rented Bikes one day for a day trip to several of the beaches and Salt flats that are still producing Salt the old fashioned way. When we tired we looked forward to returning to our apartment and having a nice hot shower. All in all a very nice stay.

What a beautiful city

First time in Aviero. They call it the "Little Venice" of Portugal. The apartment was smartly appointed, cool and comfortable. You are right next to a canal, and just go around the corner and you can hook yourself up with a 45 minute ride. It is a must.

we spent a couple days in aveiro for a wedding and this listing caught our attention as we were traveling with our 6 month old and they offered a high chair and travel bassinet. paula’s communication was top notch. she gave us so many recommendations and kept in contact the entire time making sure everything was up to par. the house was perfect for our family and the location is ideal, right in the middle of downtown aveiro where there’s always something to do. we had the best time and made some great memories as im sure anyone who stays here will! thank you, paula!
