There were several issues with this stay.
First, the directions to the villa were inadequate. The villas are Elrin villas, but that was not adequately stressed in the directions. The use of a local landmark like the Mani brewery would be helpful. I attempted to get better guidance but my emails were not answered.
Issues with the villa itself included substandard kitchen equipment. For instance, the ice cube trays were broken and should be discarded. There was no spatula and the glassware was mismatched and inadequate. There were no small plates and several of the bowls were chipped.
Despite listing beach towels and beach blankets as being available none were found within the unit.
There was adequate hot water in the sinks, but we were unable to take a hot shower. The shower maximum hot temperature was tepid at best. The bed in the main bedroom was very noisy disturbing our sleep.
Each morning I had to clean up cat feces and/or vomit from the patio.
Finally, overgrown bushes blocked the stairs to the parking area and made climbing the stairs difficult if not downright hazardous.
The local agent was helpful and the a/c worked flawlessly.
This was NOT a luxury rental experience.
