Villa Feia in Korakohori is situated in a private olive grove. It's overlooking a bay with access to the sea and has views of the Ionian sea, with clear day and night views of Zante and Kefallonia. The villa has its own entrance (gate) and private garden, and has direct access to the bay. The villa meets the exacting standards of the Greek National Tourist organisation . The short-term lease registration number is 00000179246 . A spacious and architecturally designed house (with a personal and hospitable touch), it can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. Large veranda and garden, opened terrace, barbecue and terrace shower, garden furniture, dining area with a view of the sea and garden and a private swimming pool are just a few of the amenities on the ground floor.. Both bedrooms on the second floor have comfortable furniture and their own balconies with breathtaking views of the sea and garden. The living room can sleep 1 person on a comfortable sofa bed when needed. The living room also includes a dining area. All outside areas are fully lit at night and both the property and the garden are suitable for children. Its unique location and surroundings makes it a popular destination both for summer and winter travellers.

A wonderful week at Villa Feia

We had the most wonderful week at Villa Feia. The villa's setting at the end of the lane, right on the edge of the sea in a beautiful elegant, flower filled garden is truly spectacular. Anna was a wonderful, friendly host and met us on arrival with a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and some delicious wine which was a nice touch. A cleaner came in the middle of the week and Anna appeared again with yet MORE gifts of fruit and some beautiful fresh flowers. We were really touched by this. The villa was faultlessly clean, airy and very comfortable. Lovely and quiet with spectacular stars at night. A few steps down to the sea where there is a small terrace and a ladder into the water. The local village of Katakolo (3km - 5mins) has a charming harbour lined with restaurants and a street of nice shops + a couple of small supermarkets. A large supermarket further down the road has everything. Our favourite beach was Matzakoura (1.5km) - a naturalistic pretty beach with a sandy island you can easily swim to. Also Agios Andreas beach has sunbeds etc and some really very good restaurants on the beach (our favourite was Beavoir - super cool elegant Ibiza style with). Olympia is less than an hour away and a great day out and if you want to go a bit further and fancy a hike - visit the monasteries in the Louisos gorge - absolutely spectacular! There are many other recommendations in the super helpful and very comprehensive manuals that Anna (and her friend Saskia) have produced, and they are always on hand if there's anything you need. Couldn't recommend the villa and Anna more! Well deserving of it's 5 star rating... I'd give it 6 stars if I could... Thanks again Anna for a wonderful stay!

Excellent place to stay

Lovely villa in a super location. Hosts who live closeby friendly and helpful. Car essential and directions to a larger supermsrket. Tavernas fairly close . Lovely sunsets over Zakynthos seen from the òutside dining table. Overall an excellent relaxing holiday.

Lovely villa and gardens with beautiful sea views

Brilliant holiday! We all loved having the sea at the bottom of the garden. In the mornings we snorkelled and were amazed at the number of fish we saw, in the evenings we watched the sun dropping into the ocean, stunning! The pool was fantastic too. There were lots of great restaurants close by and everyone was so friendly. There was lots of information suggesting trips out, although it was too hot for our kids to do much other than swim before 6pm!! We did make it to Ancient Olympia and would really recommend the Archimedes museum in the nearby town of Olympia if you have kids - small but really interactive. Thanks to Anna and family for being such amazing hosts!

Villa Feia Review - July 2022

This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. The villa is clean , well equipped, spacious and cool, and the gardens and pool are well maintained with plenty of shade. The access to the sea is very special and we spent happy times snorkelling here. We found some great local beaches, tavernas and headed into the mountains a few times. The trip to Stemnista and Dimistana is highly recommended but we decided to stay overnight as it was a long drive and this was definitely a good decision. Anna was a charming host who brought us wine, olives and local eggs. It is worth mentioning that although the property says it has wifi, this didn't really work and we rarely got online. Another point for future guests is that the photos were taken some time ago and there is now another property next door to the villa, part of which is rented our and part is the owners home - both share the access to the sea. It didn't disturb us though there was occasional noise. All in all a great holiday and highly recommended.

Relax in privacy

A super house inside and out. Lovely gardens with many areas to relax and see the sea. The owners are lovely and very helpful. We couldn't recommend it too highly, we had a super holiday.

Absolutely Idyllic

An absolutely stunning villa in the most idyllic location. Our family of 5 spent 2 weeks here at the beginning of August. The villa, pool and surrounding gardens are just beautiful. The access to the sea from a path leading from the garden felt like the most amazing gift! The wider surroundings were just perfect too. We ate in excellent restaurants in 2 of the local villages as well as Katakolo itself. All only a very short drive away. Anna was the most kind and caring of hosts and provided special touches that made the holiday truly memorable. The information left in the villa was also extremely helpful and informative especially the list of local restaurant recommendations. A really wonderful experience..

Dream Week!

Our week at Villa Feya was a dream! We enjoyed the garden, the pool, the swimming in the little creek just below the house, the house itself… everything was perfect. With my family, we spent quite a few holidays renting houses in Greece and elsewhere, and this was one of our best!! Thank you Anna for everything!

Greek vacation at its best!

Perfect location in the middle of nowhere, on the coast of the Ionian sea, with direct access to a nice bay for bathing and snorkelling. Private swimming pool is a great option for kids. The hosts are very nice and helpful, advising guests about best locations for dine & wine (local tavernas offer good food at reasonable prices). The house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Dreamy stay by the sea

We had such a lovely stay in Villa Feia! The place is amazing, well equipped, and beautifully decorated with touches of Mrs Anna's lovely artwork! We went there for a one week stay and left with new friends (Mrs Anna and Mr Panos) and a promise to go again next year. Thank you! A few tips: - Both my fiancée and I worked remotely for an entire week while staying at Villa Feia. We conducted multiple video calls and had no issues with the WiFi whatsoever. - We ordered hearty home-cooked food every day for lunch, from Mrs Machi's tavern in nearby Korakochori. Mrs Machi is a very good cook and makes different dishes every day!

The best holiday we ever had

Villa Feia looks stunning from the details but in reality it is even more lovely. We never tired of the view over the sea from the bottom of the beautiful garden and loved the short walk down to the rocky cove where we snorkelled in the crystal clear water. The house was exceptionally clean, very well furnished and equipped - we had everything we needed and more and there was plenty of space for five adults. And for us the position of Villa Feia was perfect - peaceful, on the coast, opposite olive groves and vineyards. Anna and Panos are lovely and gracious hosts - always kind and helpful. Saskia was also delightful as well as very helpful and informative. We were so happy to meet them all and very much hope to see them again as we hope to return to Villa Feia - our best ever holiday.

Perfect house

The house is fantastic with a nice swimming pool and the private access to the sea is perfect for familly with children (5/10/12 yo for ours). Our host was very kind and made sure we would love our stay.

A wonderful spot of the earth

At the end of a path through olive trees and an alley of palms you reach a very tasteful villa in a wonderful garden directly on the Ionian Sea. It is a great place to stay and to relax with the family and everybody will find his favorite place. Anna is a very pleasant owner, everything was to our complete satisfaction and we highly recommend this accommodation.

wunderschönes Haus und tolle Gastgeber

Wir haben zu viert eine wunderbare Woche in der Villa Feia verbracht. Anna und Saskia haben uns mit großer Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft umsorgt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus und insbesondere das Grundstück sind fantastisch, wir haben wunderbar entspannte Tage im Garten (mit grandiosem Meerblick), am Pool und beim Schnorcheln in der kleinen privaten Felsbucht verbracht. Ausflüge in die Umgebung, z.B. ins antike Olympia, sind auch lohnenswert. Wir können die Villa Feia uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Superbe villa / Hôtesse adorable

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine en août 2019 dans la villa d'Anna. La propriétaire est vraiment adorable. Elle a beaucoup d'attention pour ses hôtes et prend soin de régler tous les petits soucis. La villa Feia est magnifique, le jardin est somptueux et très bien entretenu, au bord de la mer et au calme (attention au bruit des cigales !), la piscine très bien pour les enfants. Et la maison est joliment décorée et très fonctionnelle (clim dans toutes les pièces). Le seul petit bémol est la présence d'une autre autre villa à proximité de la villa Feia, séparée par une clôture de jardin en jonc de mer, mais nous n'avons pas du tout été dérangés pendant le séjour. Bref, Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Une famille parisienne de cinq personnes.

Luxury and privacy on a private beach

It is a real gem stone in a "tourist safe" zone of South West Greece, near to the Ancient Olympia, in the heart of an agricultural regiun with a lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and the best fish what the Ionic sea can give! Nice tiny tavernas on the beach with simple but very good quality and tasty food and the highest hospitality possible. The vila is located in the direct vicinity of a well known winery the Mercoury Winery, where you can taste 15 differen vines all of the highest quality. The vila has everithing needed for a perfect holyday and the owners who live just in the other vila next to the property were the best hosts ever . They provided all the useful information needed for a confortable stay, and offeren very nice gifts to remember them always! The private beach, the swimming pool are of the highest quality possible. Ideal place for four persons to relax and have one of the best holidays of all times!

Absolutely Delightful.

Villa Feia is absolutely delightful. The villa has everything you need for a very comfortable holiday and is beautifully appointed. It is located at the end of a quiet lane among olive groves and vineyards. The swimming pool is superb and provides hours of fun with children and a nice cooling break from the sun but not too cool. The house and swimming pool are set within beautiful gardens of lawn and shaded areas of trees, a gentle path leads you from the garden directly down to the sea where you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling to explore the many varieties of fish under the surface. In the evening the sun sets on the horizon across the sea and tables and chairs are strategically placed overlooking the sea to allow you to fully enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The hosts Anna, Panos and Saskia are wonderful, they are so helpful and caring and really make you feel at home, whilst ensuring the property is kept in very good order. I cannot recommend this property enough and will certainly be returning.

Perfect villa

We spent two wonderful weeks at this perfectly situated villa. The proximity to the sea with brilliant snorkelling from the little bay at the bottom of the garden was really special: innumerable fish species, starfish and eve a turtle! Anna and her husband were very kind and considerate hosts: the pears, free range eggs and aubergine feta pastry were delicious. The sunsets over Zakynthos and Kefalonia were another highlight. A truly beautiful place.

Wunderschönes Haus, lichtdurchflutet mit guter Raumaufteilung . Der Garten mit Pool ist sehr gepflegt, man erkennt hier die Liebe der Hauseigentümer - unmittelbare Nachbarn - zur Natur und Garten. Obwohl das Ferienhaus direkt an das Eigentümerhaus angrenzt ist die Privatsphäre absolut gegeben. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und besorgt, bleiben aber immer diskret im Hintergrund. Der Meerzugang ist gut zu begehen und das Meer selbst (Felsstrand) über eine Einstiegsleiter zu erreichen. Bei stärkeren Wellengang etwas problematisch. Wunderschön auch die Sonnenuntergänge. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die Betreuung durch Frau Saskia, die die Hauseigentümer unterstützt und bemüht ist, Hilfe in jeder Lebenslage zu geben. Zusammengefasst ein empfehlenswertes Haus mit guter Atmosphäre.
