Nice area but a lot of noise, not suitable for vacation with family
First the positive: we went as a family with 2 kids and enjoyed a lot the quick and easy pool and lake access. Everything was very clean and easy to use. We kept our SUPs at the lake for 2 weeks. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help with questions. We had issues with the WiFi and got a replacement.
The negative: The apartment is heading to the street (Via Nazionale). It is a main road with a lot of traffic and must be crossed to get to the pool/lake, which is not much of a problem for older kids. But the really annoying thing is the noise. It can become very hot in the apartment in summer and there is no air condition. But with open windows, it is not possible to have a conversation in the room or to come to sleep. Even with windows closed the noise is terrible in the night. The windows have only very old insulation against noise and heat and are a single layer of glass. We would only recommend the apartment for a one night stop during a trip. Also our daughter fell out of the bunk bed and got hurt, because there was no dropping barrier. Since we wanted to keep the kitchen separate as we usually do not get up at the same time, we ended up with sleeping all together in one bed or on the floor. We would not recommend to rent this apartment as a family with kids.
