Havana is a modern design apartment located in a historic building in the immediate vicinity of the historic center of Santa Margherita Ligure. Equipped with all comforts, it is the ideal accommodation for those looking for a glamorous accommodation that offers all the comforts in terms of amenities and an excellent location.



ENVIRONMENTS

A room with a French bed is available for guests. A bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom in the room with shower and exposed sink. A second bathroom. An elegant living room where you can relax or watch television. A very modern island kitchen fully equipped with oven, washing machine and dishwasher which therefore offers all the comforts even for longer stays. Finally, a small balcony allows you to relax outdoors.



POSITION

The apartment is located near the town of Santa Margherita and therefore the historic center with its characteristic alleys, its trendy boutiques and many restaurants to be discovered.

A few steps away there is also the port area where you can find numerous fishmongers that every day receive fresh fish directly from the boats, numerous restaurants and bars and many other renowned boutiques.

Returning towards the center and towards the promenade you will find the boat that connects Rapallo, Portofino and San Fruttuoso and the more fashionable area that comes alive in season in the succession of its bars and restaurants.

For nature lovers, on the other hand, there are some paths nearby that lead to the park of Portofino and its trekking routes with breathtaking views.

Santa Margherita Ligure is also served by a railway station that offers the possibility of easily reaching Genoa, the Cinque Terre and other seaside villages such as Camogli and Sestri Levante.

Our stay started off on a bad note when we arrived at the property without having received any check in instructions or way to get into the apartment. Despite multiple texts and calls, we were standing outside the flat for nearly an hour while making phone calls to VRBO and the owner, trying to figure out what to do. Eventually about 50 mins later, we were contacted and given directions. No apology or anything for being stranded for nearly an hour. Once inside, the flat was nice but had a number of issues. The shower in the master bedroom leaks an incredible amount, absolutely flooding the bedroom floor, which was quite annoying. On checkout, we were given instructions to take the rubbish out, but the QR code with bin location was incorrect (30+ min away), so we had no way to duspose of the rubbish and had to take it with us. Overall, the flat was fairly nice and in a good location, but i probably wouldn't stay here again due to all the issues.

The apartment was lovely, but the process leading up to it was stressful - as it's not managed by VRBO but by an Italian partner agency.Although there's an online chat facility, trying to get information when we needed it was almost impossible - we were told that we would be given the address and access details only the day before the holiday, which was ridiculous as it was impossible to plan anything - such as how long it would take to get there from the station, where the supermarket was etc. Once we actually arrived, the communication improved with prompt WhatsApp messages from the property manager and it was all pretty easy. Some things to note:- Property is only a 15 min walk from the station.- The supermarket is literally a 1 minute walk across the street.- The coffee machine only takes capsules that are provided in a dispenser in the apartment for 0.50 Euro each; they are not available in any supermarket we tried.- The free rubbish disposal point described to us didn't exist and we had to carry all our rubbish from the week to a location about 20 minutes walk away, in 35 degrees on our last morning - not happy about that.Lastly, the agent tried to get us to pay tourist tax of 2 Euros each per person per day before we left, but we had already paid this as part of the holiday purchase price.
