Excellent apartment , spacious and well located

The apartment was clean and well equipped . It has plenty of space (we only used two bedrooms for a family of four) . The owner responded very promptly to any queries and was very helpful . The complex itself is excellent with a bar/restaurant , swimming pool etc . The link down to the centre of Flaine is v easy and quick (ten minutes or so) via the free bus , which runs frequently. Intermediate skiers can ski down , if there is enough snow.

Fabulous Flaine ski apartment!

I would highly recommend this property for a ski holiday in Flaine! The property is finished to a high standard and has amazing views from the balconies looking towards Flaine and the pistes. It is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 9 across the 4 bedrooms and it was also great to have lots of bathrooms! We also really enjoyed being able to use the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam rooms. The ski locker is a very short walk from the apartment and we found the free ski shuttle bus into Flaine to be very convenient and easy to use. We also enjoyed being able to ski directly into Flaine some days. Francoise was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. We loved our stay so much we have already booked to go back again next year! Thank you!

Trip with Friends

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable apartment. It has lots of space so that the 5 of us didn't feel on top of each other. Although, it is located out of the main town the bus connection and ski link down work very well. The views are wonderful, the spa has everything you need and the hotel reception/bar/restaurant were a bonus. The host was always available when we needed her and very accommodating. Just a shame i injured my knee on the first day - but saying that I'm glad I had a comfortable apartment to relax in with lift access and balcony's to sunbathe on!

Lovely apartment ski out but not ski in

The apartment is set in a hamlet at the very top of Flaine. It benefits from a local ski shop, bar and restaurant and has use of the pool and spa facilities in the block. It is ski out direct to a lift but you need to use the bus to get back, which is easy enough and frequent until 6.30. The apartment is spacious and very well appointed. Great view. We found everything we needed and highly recommended. Owner communication all good and clear. Our check in was also good.

The apartment is lovely, very well decorated, clean, a really nice place to spend a week.

We really needed a car to get to and from Flaine from the apartment as our daughter is a novice skier. Also to get shopping / food a car was useful. The apartment had its own parking space underground so that works really well. Recommend definitely if you have a car. Cheap to park at the bottom for the day. Françoise is so helpful and answers any questions you have immediately, really great host. All good 👍

Great chalet in a complex with good facilities

The chalet is a good size and accommodated our group of 5 adults and 2 children well. It’s well equipped for self catering cooking and the large fridge is a bonus because the supermarkets are a minimum of 15 min drive away. The chalet is part of the Dormio resort complex and benefits from the pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub, although it can get very busy and the pool was very cold whilst we were staying, it wasnt clear if this was intentional or if the heating was being fixed. The secure ski locker area in the car park is very handy for getting geared up and with a 100m walk to the bus stop, it’s very easy to get down the flaine ski lifts, whist enjoying the benefit of this quite residence and the amazing day and night views over the flaine bowl. Overall it was an excellent holiday. Francoise the owner was very good at communicating about the stay and was very helpful in the process of preparing for our trip.

An excellent property in a top location

We stayed as 2 families, essentially 9 adults. The property is finished to a high standard and very well equipped. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The location enjoys stunning views. It is set in a small hamlet about 10 minutes from Flaine. You can easily access the ski area via the shuttle bus which is about a 2 min walk away, in my view it is too far to walk to the village. You can also ski down to the village depending on the snow conditions. We used the shuttle bus, it was convenient however, note ,it stops about 6pm. We rented our skis from the hire shop within the complex. The reception area was a great focal point to relax after a day’s skiing. The restaurant on site was reasonable value and the the staff all friendly and accomadating.

I would thoroughly recommend this property for a summer holiday in the Alps but especially for larger groups. There were 7 of us in our group aged from 10 to 49 and everyone had a lovely time! We were in Flaine for one week and went to Chamonix, Geneva and Sallanches as well as exploring the local area. We would have gone to Annecy and done other activities like horse riding and the cable car at Flaine to see Mont Blanc but 2 of our group were unwell on different days and there was poor visibility on other days so the reasons we did not do everything we hoped was completely unrelated to the the property or location. We would recommend going to an Aldi or Lidl en route as grocery shopping is very expensive at the smaller supermarkets but other than that the holiday was very reasonable in terms of accomodation and flight costs for a group of our size. The only criticism would be that the pool is small which is fine for a quick dip but it was quite cold considering you couldn't swim to keep warm, per se. That would be my only small niggle. The host of this chalet responded to queries almost immediately and was friendly in her replies and the staff at the resort were also friendly and informative. The chalet itself was very clean, well maintained and homely and we were very happy with our booking. .

Très bon séjour

Appartement chaleureux, confortable et très bien agencé. Belle résidence. Chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bain. Jolie vue sur le domaine. Pistes accessibles en skis et remontée par les navettes. Randonnées dans la neige et piste de luge au départ de la résidence.. Le SPA est dans un autre bâtiment. Il faut sortir pour y accéder.

Wohnung in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Das Wetter und das Skigebiet waren ein Traum. Neben dem Wohngebiet startet eine Skipiste zum den Hauptrouten. Unsere Hunde waren willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Direkt hinter dem Haus gehen die Winterwanderwege los.

Bel appartement "chalet", bien situé

Très belle propriété, bien située (proximité arrêt navette et départ presque skis aux pieds), confortable avec belle vue. Rien à redire, à l'exception d'un peu d'ambiguïté quant aux chambres : en pratique, 3 chambres-doubles, 1 chambre avec lits-superposés et un divan-lit au lmilieu du salon.

calme et vue imprenable

L'appartement est très joliment décoré, très cosy avec une vue imprenable sur le désert de Platé. Sur l'annonce il est écrit que le logement se situe à ARRACHE LA FRASSE, c'est pas tout a fait ça: l'appartement est à FLAINE, c'est à dire 20 minutes de route en plus. Il faut le prendre en compte pour les trajets quotidiens. Ce n'est pas rien. Autre "détail", il n'est pas normal que les personnes à la réception du complexe ne parle qu'Anglais ou Hollandais. ce n'est pas à nous à faire cet effort. une fois que l'on a pris tout cela en considération, ce logement est idéal pour des vacances au calme et à la vue sensationnelle.

Bel appartement dans une résidence agréable

L'arrivée a été un peu chaotique car les informations pour l'arrivée n'ont pas été mis à jour et la résidence a changé de nom. Le stress est beaucoup monté mais heureusement pas de mauvaise surprise. L'appartement est très agréable mais n'est absolument pas un duplex, tout est au même étage. Il est bien équipé même s'il manque toujours de grands plats pour le nombre de personnes pouvant être accueillies. Les parties communes sont agréables. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour et il est très facile de partir en randonné ou d'avoir accès à toutes les activités de Flaine de l'appartement.

Great apartment and location

The apartment was a great size (4 Adults) and the location was perfect. Ski straight onto the piste, just cross the road. There are a few restaurants within walking distance plus a local shop/Spar and Flaine is a 30 minute walk. Buses run throughout the day. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Excellent séjour

Très chouette appart, confortable et chaleureux. Nous étions 7p. Nous n’avons pas dû utiliser le divan-lit du salon. Bien équipé, manque un peu de place dans la cuisine pour ranger les courses. Belle résidence et bel environnement, à l’écart de la station. Départ ski au pied, retour en navette (10min.). Attention plus de navette après 18h30 !

Super appartement’ très bien agencé, fonctionnel et spacieux. Literie très confortable.Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants qui ont partagé la chambre avec lit superposé. The optimal snow cover allows skiing a long time in season. The many activities offered by the tourist office delight the children and the adults in summer and winter. Thanks to its privileged location between Lake Léman and Annecy, in Flaine you can combine activities, relaxation and culture. In addition to the spectacular sites to discover nearby, Flaine is close to Chamonix and the White Valley, Megève, Annecy, Les Aravis, Italy, etc.
