Walk till you reach the waterfront amid the peaceful alleyways surrounded with charming stone homes and lush gardens. The quayside in Dittisham is frequently thought of as the centre of the community. Visit the Anchorside Café for breakfast and enjoy the breath-taking views of the river. On the dinghy pontoon, try your hand at some crab-catching with the youngsters. Go to the well-known pink Ferry Boat Hotel (or FBI as it is known locally). Reaching Greenway, the former summer home of the legendary Agatha Christie, requires ringing the ferry bell and crossing the Dart. There are several attractive treks and sailing courses available for outdoor recreation.
