5 Star Award Winning Lodge - The Ramsay - sleeps 4

Wonderful wooden lodge with stunning views over the Scottish countryside. Privately located on an organic working farm. It has two bedrooms with superking sized beds, one can be made into a two. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. One has a raindance shower and a deep soak bath. The second a raindance shower.
The living area connected to the wonderfully equipped kitchen. There is an oak table for dining at and patio doors that lead onto the front decking. This raised decking is a wonderful spot for some outdoor dining. The spacious hot tub is located on the back decking in a private location with wonderful views.

Dog friendly! We love dogs at airhouses and you are welcome to bring 2 well behaved dogs to The Ramsay, please add them after booking in Manage my Booking or contact us to do it for you. They are an extra £45 per dog for the duration of your stay.

Beautiful

The Ramsey lodge was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A lovely welcome pack was awaiting us too. The views from here are fantastic with deer a regular visitor. Hot tub was fabulous. Would definitely recommend if your if need of a good chill out.

A very lovely place to stay.

This is a ideal place to stay if you want peace and quiet, comfort and lovely views. Very interesting to look around the animals on the farm and lovely walks around the farm. The hot tub was good too and great night skies for star watching.

As good as always

Lodge was excellent, clean comfortable with great views across the countryside. This was the third visit and not disappointed. Hot tub was marvellous, and there was plenty of wildlife and animals to view. Close to melrose, Kelso, Edinburgh for days out. Thanks to Damian and everyone involved with airhouses ,keep up the good work.

The Ramsay at airhouses

A little piece of heaven. This was our 5th stay at AIRHOUSES having stayed at the pod and Buchanan lodge previously. All stays have been idyllic and we can’t wait to return. again. Beautiful countryside and beautiful lodges with incredible owners who make you feel so welcome. The farm animals are adorable and all of the facilities ( bbq/ hot tubs etc) are excellent . Highly recommended to families and couples. You won’t be disappointed

Excellent lodge in a beautiful location

We had a fantastic week at the Ramsay. The setting on the farm is wonderful and the kids loved feeding the pigs and the donkeys. The accommodation is clean, spacious and to a very high standard. The added bonus of the hot tub is a real treat to relax in at the end of the day. A really lovely location and excellent lodge facilities. Our family had a great holiday here.

Unforgettable Memories Made at Airhouses

We had the most amazing stay at The Ramsay at Airhouses! The lodge was beautifully presented, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning scenery — the perfect place to unwind. A big highlight for us was the hot tub — it was such a treat to relax in it at the end of the day, especially with those gorgeous views! Another standout was the animals — my daughter Abie absolutely loved visiting them, and Damian was so kind, even letting her help with feeding them. It completely made her holiday and created some really special memories. The whole team were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. You can tell they genuinely care about making your stay special. Thank you again for such a memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect

We have had two stays at the Ramsay. The location is stunning. Very open and so tranquil and relaxing. The house must be one of the most spotless we have stayed in. Everything is well looked after. Damian is always about to help or answer any questions. Our dog comes too and there are walks around Airhouses from the lodge. We find lots to do in the area, lots of gardens and historic properties to visit. Definitely recommend a stay at the Ramsay and Airhouses. Forgot to mention the very handy wee shop with frozen meals and the pop up cafe on a Saturday morning.

Perfect Stay - we'll be back for our 8th visit soon!

Airhouses is a fantastic escape from the real world to a special little paradise where you can relax and unwind. The lodges are luxurious and immaculately kept with great features. It has everything you can need for a weeks stay to be very comfortable.

A weekend of celebrations

After visited Airhouses many times, it was the perfect choice to spend the weekend at The Ramsay celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday. The Ramsay is perfect for our small family and the dogs. The views are stunning, the accommodation is spotless and a massage from Tracy of Iomlan Suund Therapies in our lodge,added to my relaxing weekend. A big Thank you to the team for helping with all my surprises, some more happy memories made at Airhouses

Another Great Stay

Lost count of the number of times we’ve visited Airhouses. Every time it’s been excellent, peace and quiet, superb views, truly luxury lodges. The Ramsay being particularly suitable for those with limited mobility, level throughout and with that all important wet room. This time we were treated to glorious winter sunshine with one day set aside for a howling blizzard and 6 inches of snow, made the hot tub exciting, Can’t wait to return .

Couldn't fault a thing

As a family we all had an excellent stay. The location was beautiful, walks around the farm were very good. Our daughter really enjoyed seeing and feeding the animals every day. You could do as much or as little as you wanted, and then soak in the hot tub looking out over the fields.

Staying in Ramsay Ayr house

My wife and I stayed at the Ramsay Ayr house for one week and had a fantastic time The accommodation was spotlessly clean and all items inside the lodge worked and were of a high standard. Owners are lovely people and very helpful The surrounding scenery to the lodges is glorious with very little light pollution at night if stargazing is your thing Well worth the money it’s our second visit and would recommend to others

The perfect stay

We had the perfect week at Airhouses. Our lodge, The Ramsay, met all our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. Everything we needed was provided. The lodges sit on the hillside overlooking the area around. It is peaceful and we slept well. It is ideal for exploring the Borders area with lots of places within reach and there is a hot tub to relax in. There is also a very handy little shop on site which stocks high quality frozen meals and ice cream as well as fresh eggs etc. Damien, the manager is often around to answer questions and check everything is alright. Highly recommend this property. We hope to return.

Excellent week away

We had a great experience staying at Airhouses. The pre holiday information and enhance your stay was excellent and have you choices to purchase food prior to arrival to be in your lodge when you arrived. The restaurant recommendations that we booked were excellent. Thanks for being on site and providing information as needed and for accommodating our.4 dogs which we find difficulty to find commodity on that will accept them. All in all a great experience and we will and have recommended to others.

Amazing stay as always

Another amazing stay at airhouses. Absolutely loved the Ramsay. Perfect location, amazing lodge and wonderful hosts. Loved the animals on the farm and friendliness of everyone at Airhouses. Would definitely recommend a stay here for rest and relaxation in this beautiful setting. Can't wait to stay again. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
