Beautifully equipped flat in the heart of the medieval city.
You feel at home, all the equipment is available.
2 bedrooms + 1 extra bed in the large bedroom.
Take advantage of the restaurants, and the animations of the city while being inside.
A few meters from the castle and 2 minutes from the basilica of Saint-Nazaire.
Arrival in autonomy 24/24.

Halte à Carcassonne en plein cœur de la Cité, idéale pour visiter le château et les remparts. Logement bien conçu et espace optimisé. Suggestion : fournir la notice de la plaque chauffante (que nous n'avons pas pu débloquer pour le dîner car en mode erreur) et compléter l'équipement de cuisine et vaisselle, minimalistes pour une famille.

Excellent location, Subpar Communication

The apartment is in an excellent location inside the old city. It is a short walk from the public parking just outside the gates to La Cité, but be aware because of the cobblestones and the slanting streets, it’s not easy if you have a lot of bags. Although much is made of the stairs inside, it’s really not a big deal. One flight up to the main floor of the apartment and another flight up to the bedrooms. It is mostly comfortable, although there is no air-conditioning (there are fans). We also found that several of the electric outlets did not work. The biggest downside was that the communication with the host was not very consistent nor detailed. When we asked some questions about where to park and how many flights of stairs we would need to climb, we were answered (after much delay) with a curt and somewhat annoyed reply. The host seemed to be irritated by our questions. Although in the listing it says the host speaks English, they consistently answered me in French. I speak a little French, but I ended up having to use Google translate for a lot of the conversation. We also tried to ask in the morning if we could leave our bags in the apartment so we could walk around the city before we checked out, but we were not answered until we had left the apartment. To summarize, we very much enjoyed our stay within the beautiful castle-city of Carcassonne, but feel the host could use a refresher on what it means to be gracious and welcoming.

Hidden little gem..once you find it!

The only glitch we had was the initial finding of the property! When we arrived it was getting dark and it took awhile to get an initial response from the property manager so we did freak out a bit! But, once we did get a response and more specific directions we were able to locate it and all was well. Communication after that initial hiccup was great and the apartment is in an awesome location.

excellente literie. the et café à discrétion. belles prestations esthétiques et pratiques dans toutes les pièces. très bien situé : au coeur même de la cité, proche de la porte narbonnaise pour ceux qui garent au parking et facile d'accès à pied même si on vient de la gare. disponibilité de notre hôte. je recommande.
