Welcome to this luxury forest villa 'De Steenbok'. A beautiful place where you can unwind. The spacious living room has lots of light and is split-level. The villa is therefore not suitable for the disabled. This house has a cozy, spacious kitchen with a dining table. There are 6 bedrooms with 12 beds. There are 5 modern bathrooms. For the little guest, there are also a crib and a highchair available. There are several playing facilities for the children, such as a renovated bedroom with a big tv and a Playstation 5 with different games. There is a lovely garden with a garden set where you can completely unwind. There is also a barbecue, ideal for long summer evenings. The house is located in the picturesque village of Rijs on a small park close to the Rijsterbos and the IJsselmeer. A beautiful base for sports, relaxation, nature, hiking, cycling, golfing, and culinary enjoyment. In short, an ideal place for a wonderful vacation or weekend away.

Familienurlaub

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche im Haus de Steenbock und waren begeistert von der beeindruckenden Architektur. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Spielzimmer, das direkt an das Esszimmer anschloss – eine tolle Lösung, die viel Komfort und Flexibilität bot. Das Haus ist perfekt für mehrere Generationen geeignet, da es viel Platz und eine angenehme Atmosphäre bietet. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Das Haus ist extrem hellhörig, was bei so vielen Leuten teils störend ist. Besonders abends hört man alles.Die Bäder und Toiletten sind sehr klein, was für größere Menschen eine Herausforderung darstellt

Beautiful house, some things up for improvement

We stayed with a large group of adults. Overall the house is nice, spacious, clean and well equipped. We were lacking nothing during our stay. Also there is a forest close-by and it takes only a short walk to the IJsselmeer.However, some things can be improved.1. Contact with the agency: we had to contact them before the trip to remind them deduct the money from our account and to send us the door codes. That should happen without reminder. Also the emergency contact during the stay was not reachable, and as something broke there was not contact.2. The house: we had to vent many of the radiators ourselves, part of the house was under renovation and e.g darts and table kicker were not available (images of those were deleted from FeWo during our stay). This was not told in advance, but a small „we are sorry“ basket with sweets was placed. A door broke which was clearly not properly fixed in the frame, but we were blamed in the end. Electricity is awful, if you start the kettle, the light dim…So overall, a wonderful house to spend a few days with friends and family, but the service and contact to the visitors should definitely be improved.
