On the ground floor there is a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including washing machine and dishwasher. There is a spacious living room with wood burner and Smart TV, and a separate dining room. On the second floor are three bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower over bath. The fourth bedroom is on the top floor with double bed and large en-suite with a walk-in shower.
Less than a 5-minute walk you are in town, here you will find something for every visitor. The ancient buildings are now home to a variety of independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. For lovers of the great outdoors, the town has a wealth of waymarked paths and a national long distance trail runs through the town on the Greenwich Meridian. East Grinstead Museum is just a short walk away and is a must-see for anyone interested in the town’s history. The Bluebell Railway is less than a 15-minute walk, running from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead where it connects with mainline services. This takes the line to a total distance of about 12 miles, passing through some of the most picturesque Sussex countryside that you will find. Right beside the station at Sheffield Park is a magnificent informal landscape garden, laid out in the 18th century by Capability Brown. There are dramatic shows of daffodils and bluebells in spring, and the rhododendrons and azaleas are spectacular in early summer. To the west, Wakehurst Place is the National Trust’s most visited place and home to the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
