Beautiful week and location

Definitely would recommend the sauna, dip in the lake, followed with the shower located in the steamy sauna room.

Family tradition to go to lake home

It met all are expectations except for the boat launch. It was nice to have kayak and paddle boats. We all like the jacuzzi, movie room, pool table and basket ball hoop. Great for family get togethers.

Awesome place for a big group!

We had a gathering of a bunch of old high school and college friends, and the place couldn't have been better. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, activities like paddle boards, Kayaks, games, movies, hot tub, billiards, and more. Perfect place for a large group get-together. The host was also great and made herself available via phone if there were any questions or issues.

Family Vacation

Took our adult kids and their kids for 5 days. We made many happy memories, and we highly recommend Leisure Lodge. Home was perfect for us and the lake was too.

Great place for lots of people

Our group had lots of space and lots of fun. The house is huge and allowed people the freedom to find their own space when the group got to be too much. The lake was wonderful and communication with the host was easy.

This home is awesome.

This house has so many activities to do that you won't get bored. The owner is awesome, always respond in a timely manner. I recommend this house to any group get away.

Large house on a beautiful lake

Overall this is a good place to stay. Huge home with lots of space to spread out. A number of things were marked broken or unusable in the house but that did not affect our stay much. This would easily be a 5 star with a few updates and repairs.

Perfect Christmas Getaway

The place was beautifully decorated for the holiday. There was plenty of rooms and beds for our large group. Plenty of things and activities in the house to keep everyone busy and entertained. Will definitely rent again. :)

New Year vacation

My adult children and 8 grandchildren enjoyed 4 days at this VRBO and enjoyed every minute. The hot tub was fun for everyone. The kids and adults enjoyed all the amenities. We had several movie nights in the theater room. The host was responsive to our questions and so generous allowing us to leave later then the 10 am check out.

Our second stay

This was our second stay at this property and we still very much loved everything that came with it. There was plenty for the kids and adults to do and was a great place to just spend time with family. Christine was responsive when there was a problem. When we arrived the housekeepers just got done cleaning the place so it smelled very clean upon arrival.

House was fabulous. Plenty of room for 18’of us within six families. Pool table is handy. Played on it often. Boating and jet skiing were nice on that nice lake. Beautiful scenery and very relaxing. Everyone enjoyed our time.

Solid place to stay in northern MN

The cabin was spacious and a great place to stay for a large group. The view was gorgeous overlooking a decently sized lake. We visited for a long weekend and had a great time. My only feedback is that the ad describes a mancave as "weather permitting" but that equates to being unable to use it at any time during the weather, so plan accordingly. Christine was nice about getting us a cleaning refund for keeping the place clean.

Beautiful View

We took our family and Grandchildren to this cabin and everyone had a great time! It was very spacious, awesome view. It has everything you can think of for entertainment and cooking. There were a few glitches and things we couldn't use but we made it work. No air conditioning but the house stayed cool and rooms had fans in them.

Sauna was broken & unusable. Shower in sauna did not drain. Theatre room had no instructions & we couldn't use it. Stove griddle & oven had problems. Kitchen freezer didn't keep things frozen. Spare freezer in pantry didn't work at all. The propane for the grill was empty. The paddleboats were full of scummy water & dirty & 1 paddleboat didn't work because the rudder was broken. Bedding in basement was uncomfortable. Screens on sliding door to the deck were torn & wouldn't move, so unusable. Numerous light bulbs were out. There were mice in the basement where the 4 bedrooms were. The property owner didn't contact us until 4 hours prior to our arrival & that's when we learned that the sauna & freezer didn't work. We texted the property owner regarding some issues on the morning of day 1 of our 3 day stay & she didn't respond until I asked her again around 4pm that day. We feel we deserve some compensation for advertised features that didn't work. In addition, we left the place spotless & feel we are entitled to a refund of the 200 cleaning fee.

It was the perfect size for our family. Lake was beautiful grandsons swam and fished non stop. There were something’s marked do not use, but we also had use to kayaks and paddle board. They could use a new screen on the screen door to hot tub. It was nice to have 2 dishwashers with our family, they worked great. Also the frig stated to leak on side closest to freezer. I did leave owner message about that. Consensus from my family was the spacious house was perfect along with all the water activities. The grandsons loved watch a movie in the theater room

Misleading.

The property could be perfect but needs many repairs. Not enough hot water. Broken furniture, not clean, freezer didnt freeze, broken cupboard door, drinking water not hooked up, no public access to launch our boat, no instruction or information for the renters, remote controls had no batteries.

Location wonderful. Fun with instant access to the lake, hot tub, firepit, kayak, paddle boards etc. Large parking area allowed for pickle ball. Many chairs for outside sunning. Pool table was a hit. Very spacious main house. Close enough to towns for quick trips as needed. This is the "good".Now the not good. NO AIR CONDITIONING. main house was in the mid 80's our first night. No one slept well. Listing is not clear that there's no air in the house....in fact look at attached to see the listing says AIR CONDITIONING. The "man cave" which is separate space above garage/storage shed, had a little standalone portable air unit. Did little to help...PLUS NO RESTROOMS in the "man cave". 6 people sleeping in the "man cave" with NO RESTROOM. Not noted anywhere in the listing. So middle of the night "needs" involved getting dressed, traversing in the dark to the main house. UGH! Really? There was a pellet grill......did not work.....looked as though NEVER cleaned before. Had to use this tiny charcoal grill we found there to do our 36 burgers....6 at a time because grill so small. We considered using the griddle on the stove inside but that did not work....plus it would have heated up the house even more. Freezer side of fridge in Kitchen did not work....there was an upright freezer in storage room that sufficed. Several items throughout saying "DO NOT USE". Positives were nice....THE LISTING ACCURACY IS VERY BADBEING VERY GENEROUS with 4 Stars

House needs updating and repairs

We were so excited when we arrived to this home! We had been planning a trip with two of our family friends--21 of us total. The kitchen seemed ok at first despite an out of order sign on one, which was full of rancid old water. So we loaded the second one, despite the top rack being busted and soap dispenser being broken. However, when we went to shut it, it wouldnt lock shut. I'd say this experience summarizes the home. The bathroom looked ok at first, but the toilet continuously clogged. The water heater was a complete joke and hot water a scarce commodity even without everyone showering. The pump on the septic failed and flooded the basement destroying our friend's luggage, slippers and clothes. This failure meant we were down to one group bathroom (no shower was available) for 21 people plus the master bathroom, which involved going through their room to get there. Multiple things had out of order signs on them. The couches have rips in them, the light fixtures are literally falling out of the ceiling, the light above the dining table is missing, the bulbs in the bathrooms flicker like a horror film. There is SO much potential for this property, but it needs a few thousand dollars in maintenence & repairs to be rented out. The grounds were pretty and serene. The kitchen was well stocked with everything youd need. We asked for a discount to account for our lost items due to the septic and have been ignored. We also asked for a discount due to the dishwashers, ignored
