Villa Biddizza is a traditional Sicilian villa with a lush garden and swimming pool, overlooking a citrus grove near the Ionian coast. A few minutes' drive from Acireale and the beaches, the villa is spread over three levels and combines typical elements of the 70s with period furniture and lava stone details. Large spaces accommodate up to eight guests, including a large veranda with dining and sitting areas, four double bedrooms, air conditioning and an independent apartment downstairs. Palm trees, colorful shrubs and Mediterranean plants frame the garden, designed for outdoor living thanks to the pool area, sun loungers, hammock and a small fitness area. The seaside beaches and restaurants of Aci Castello and Giardini Naxos are within easy reach, as are Etna and Taormina, both less than an hour away.
THE PROPERTY HAS UNDERGONE A CHECK-UP CARRIED OUT BY ONE OF OUR TECHNICAL MANAGERS, TO GUARANTEE THE CORRESPONDENCE OF THE DESCRIPTION, OF THE ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THE SITE AND THEIR STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE Internal:
The property consists of the main villa and an annex. VILLA - GROUND FLOOR - Access via external staircase; living room with sitting and dining area; kitchen with French window to the veranda; a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and balcony; service bathroom; access to the veranda furnished with sliding glass walls and garden view. FIRST FLOOR — Two double bedrooms with balcony; shared bathroom with bathtub; small mezzanine suitable as a study or meditation area. LOWER FLOOR — Independent apartment with direct access to the garden, consisting of a living room with kitchenette, dining and relaxation area, a sleeping area with double bed and bathroom with shower. The three floors are connected both by an internal staircase and by an elevator. ANNEX (a few meters from the villa) — A double bedroom and a bathroom with shower (no bidet).
Park:
The villa is surrounded by a well-kept garden with lawn, flower beds, palm trees and citrus fruits. Bougainvillea, jasmine and wisteria add seasonal color, accompanied by bay leaves, rosemary and hydrangeas. The veranda, adjacent to the kitchen and living room, is furnished with a dining table and seating area and can be closed with windows for year-round use. A mobile barbecue is placed next to the outdoor dining area. A driveway leads from the automatic gate to the outdoor parking area for four cars. N.B.: Please note that the photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.
Pool:
The pool is located on a slightly lower level, in the back of the house, about 100 m from the ground floor. Rectangular in shape, it measures 10 x 5 m with a depth of 1 to 2.4 m; covered in PVC; chlorine purification; internal lighting; access via metal ladder and trampoline. The solarium, paved with terracotta, is equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas and a hammock under the shade of an olive tree. A nearby relaxation area includes garden seating, exercise bikes and an outdoor shower with cold water. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
