The largest apartment at the Podsreda Castle, dedicated to Countess Hemma — the first Slovenian saint, offers a high measure of comfort, combining the advantages of a modern four-star accommodation with the mighty castle legacy.
The spacious and bright apartment offers a large dinning and living area, with comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary equipment, solid oak furniture, and elegant floor-length velvet curtains for total blackout… The bedroom is separate from the living area, with a large double bed and extra beds.
Emma’s apartment offers views of three sides of the castle estate, which means that you will experience both the morning and evening sun, which is an exceptional moment at our castle.
Emin Apartment is ideal for families and those looking for spacious holiday accommodation.

We truly had a chance to rest and completely switch off from everyday life.

Everything was great! We spent our winter holidays there and it was snowing, which made the stay even more special. We truly had a chance to rest and completely switch off from everyday life. The castle itself is impressive and worth exploring. The surrounding nature is beautiful, even when covered in snow. One of the best parts was the complete silence at night, which made it easy to relax and sleep well. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options. Although this stay was perfect for relaxing, we would love to come back in spring or autumn for a more active holiday and to explore the area in more detail. Highly recommended!

Magical castle adventure in relaxing nature

Brilliant service!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grad Podsreda! Emma's apartment was perfect for a family of 3. Nice kitchenette and bathroom. Plenty of space. Appreciated the extra touches like coffee, tea, apple juice, and chocolates. Very fun experience, we definitely recommend.

A memorable stay in an historic and beautifully restored castle

It was a real treat to stay in this historic and beautifully restored castle. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and so quiet. It was lovely to wander around the accessible areas of the castle after the day visitors had left and although there is no TV in the apartment, there is a TV nook in the great hall, which was a fun location to watch the football. I can also recommend booking a massage while staying at the castle.

I have to say, that was the best accomodation i have ever been. All members of family were completely out of it. The place, people, location, suroundings, castle, atmosphere, nature, comfort, ecological strategies, local food... All really breath taking.

No words can describe the warm welcome we received. It was a perfect stay! People are really kind and helpful. We had the entire castle to ourselves. The room was clean and cosy, everything was new. Really comfortable bed. Hand-picked tea in the room, also coffee. Absolutely loved it!

Unique location worth the distance

It's a unique location and the renovation of this romanesque castle is very well done. The rooms are well equipped, there's local apple juice and chocolates waiting in the room which was a very nice touch. The property is clean. While it is quite a long way to reach it, the unique location and our explore around the castle definitely make it worthwhile. The staff at the castle tourist reception were very friendly & helpful

Castello e camere veramente belle, il posto è caratteristico, immerso nel verde e vi si arriva dopo aver percorso una 15ina di km in mezzo ai boschi. Le camere sono disposte in batteria lungo un ballatoio di accesso in legno. L'arredo è veramente particolare, predominanza del legno e colori marrone/bianco/rosso. Abbiamo visto sia la camera doppia, che l'appartamento con 5 posti letto. La prima ben disposta e accogliente. L'appartamento veramente bello, spazioso, con una zona adibita a zona giorno, con angolo cottura e divanetti.

fantastische verblijfplaats in een groene omgeving en binnen de muren van een kasteel.

een ruim appartement in een fantastische omgeving. Kunnen logeren in een kasteel binnen een oase van groen is een zalige ervaring. Ook leuk dat je het kasteel vrij mag bezoeken. Bij valavond met je gezin aan een kampvuur zitten aan de voet van het kasteel was ook een leuke ervaring.
