Located 15-miles from the cathedral city of York, Kingdom Castells is a purpose-built holiday home that stands as a testament to our commitment to comfort and responsible living.
From inception to creation, no expense has been spared in crafting an oasis that marries modern aesthetics with a deep respect for the environment.

We use state-of-the-art technologies, including an air source heat pump harnessing the natural warmth of the air to heat and cool our spaces efficiently utilising wet underfloor heating and advanced insulation systems that ensure temperature regulation regardless of the season.
Our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint is reflected in every room you step into.

Kitchen & dining area:
The stunning fitted kitchen is fully equipped with the following items and appliances: Qettle instant boiling water tap, dishwasher, 2-ring induction hob, Samsung oven, Samsung microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, Krupps Dolce Gusto coffee machine, and dog bowls for water and food. A table, chairs, and place settings to accommodate 4-people are also provided. Phones and electronic devices can be charged using the wall outlets that have USB ports (Old style and Type C).

The following items are complimentary: a chilled bottle of Prosecco, flat white & Americano coffee pods, Monin coffee syrups, chocolate truffles, fresh eggs from our hens, fresh semi-skimmed milk, washing up liquid, sponge/scouring pad, Spanish extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic dressing, electronic salt and pepper grinders, Border biscuits, a selection of Pukka tea bags, ice, and dishwasher pods.
Please note – the instant boiling water tap is INSTANT, so do not place your fingers under the flow of water.

Lounge:
Relax and unwind on a comfortable L-shaped sofa which extends to a full-size double bed.
Stylish, low-level ambient lighting will make that movie night experience extra special!
A 50” Samsung LED smart TV is mounted on an oak nature wall with Netflix, Amazon Prime TV, and Spotify and smart phone mirroring is available for use. A Google Nest Mini smart speaker is provided, again with Spotify installed. Apple AirPlay is enabled on the TV should you wish to stream music.
A mains powered smoke and heat alarm is installed in the lounge for your safety.

Bedroom:
You’ll find an incredibly comfortable king size bed, with fresh white linen, bedside table lamps, USB outlet ports (old style and type C) behind each bedside table, wall mounted 27” Samsung LED smart TV complete with Netflix, Amazon Prime TV, Spotify, and Apple AirPlay. There is a wardrobe, hangers, chest of drawers and stool along with two mirrors and modern LED ambient lighting. A hairdryer is available for use along with complimentary hand lotion.
A mains powered smoke and heat alarm is installed in the bedroom for your safety.

Bathroom:
The beautifully designed spa bathroom is finished with polished venetian plaster and Spanish tiling complimented by a digitally controlled shower mixer with rainfall head and handheld outlet. Press the wall mounted button to warm up the shower to 38 degrees.
A wall mounted mirror with built in de-mister and lighting can be switched on with one touch.
Towels are provided along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Toiletries, sanitary products and a first aid kit can be found in the bathroom cupboard to ensure your stay is a comfortable as possible.

Utility room:
Here you will find practical items to elevate your living experience, comprising of a Samsung washer/dryer, steam wand for ironing, dustpan & brush, cleaning equipment, and washing machine pods.
Also available within the utility area is a foam fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Outdoor space:
A decked area, accessible by the main and sliding doors is sheltered by a water-resistant pergola. We provide garden furniture, the garden is laid to lawn with gravel borders and well-lit throughout.
A waterproof Dog Igloo is provided with a comfy foam mattress for use as a dog bed.
A large off-street parking space is provided for one car with motion activated lighting and a lockable gate to access the property.
The car parking area is monitored by CCTV. However, we cannot accept any responsibility to loss of damaged incurred to personal property during your stay.
