This pretty little village was mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 and has ancient castle ruins, a stunning waterfall with quaint tea rooms next to it, two pubs both serving food and the Parish church of St Bridget with superb stained glass windows. There is easy access to lovely local walks including Offa’s Dyke Path, Gop Hill, Allt Y Craig and Golden Grove, where you can enjoy the fantastic scenery and vistas of the local area. Prestatyn, whose Blue Flag beach provides miles of golden sand, is ideal for bathing, water sports and fishing. The perfect base for touring the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, the Clwydian Hill Range, Victorian Llandudno, the Welsh Mountain Zoo or historic Chester with its wonderful shops and architecture.
