It supported a thriving boat building industry with boat builders such as Crossfields of Arnside who were leading builders of Morecambe Bay Prawners and yachts from the 1840s to 1950s. Set in an elevated position at the top of Pier Lane, Carr Garth has amazing views of the Morecambe Bay Estuary right up to The Lake District and further! Set over three floors there is 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom and a family bathroom.
Carr Garth is a property with lots of character, stone built and set on an elevated position in Arnside you will enjoy fantastic views of Morecambe Bay where you can watch the famous Arnside Bore as the tide comes in. Set over three floors Carr Garth has plenty of space and areas to sit and relax. As you enter the front door you will come into an area with two leather wing back chairs which we call The Library, as its a lovely place to sit and read. Then turning right you come to the living room with brass feature lights, a three seater leather sofa, a powered recliner leather arm chair and a large SMART TV. You will be able to enjoy the superfast FIBRE Broadband all over the house so you can stream all your favourite TV Shows or music. On this floor is the kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, built in fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Obviously there is a kettle and all the mugs, plates, cutlery etc you need to cater for yourselves too. Next to the kitchen is the garden room, once the small garden of the property this room now has a glass ceiling and is a light and airy space where you will find your handmade dining table and bench seats an ideal space for breakfasts and dinners alike! Off this room is a utility room with a tall fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer and a separate toilet with vanity sink.
