Confusing listing

The listing appears to contain photos from multiple flats and the bedroom was much smaller than illustrated in some photos. The flat was a garden unit, which was not clearly explained in the listing. The property manager wanted to communicate by What's App, but that relies upon a reliable internet connection. The steps entering the flat are steeper than normal. No electrical outlets near the bed for arms-length nighttime phone charging.

Fine place to sleep, but that is about all

This apartment met our needs for overnight lodging but we did not find our stay very enjoyable. The location is nice in that there are a lot of restaurants around. The apartment is a 12 minute walk from King Cross Station. This is not the “stone’s throw” distance advertised in the listing. This is especially true when pulling luggage over London sidewalks/streets. The unit is down two flights of stairs that are relatively skinny and steep. I did not receive check in information until I asked for it around 2 pm on the day of check in. The apartment does not have any closets to hang clothes in. The white walls are completely bare, making the apartment feel sterile. The toilet lid was broken (it fell off upon use until we leaned how to prop it up) and the bathroom sink was clogged. We had to rinse our toothbrushes in the kitchen sink.
