The cottage is great, but you need to bring everything including sugar, soap, loo paper. Luckily shops are convenient. It needs a Pyrex and mixing bowl! Trash is padlocked and awkward, everything else is lovely.

Great Place to Stay

8 Pottergate Mews is a comfortable modern property in a lovely location. Close to the centre of Helmsley and all its amenities yet peaceful and quiet. After an initial problem in getting access to the wiFi everything went smoothly and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location and relaxing stay

We stayed at the property for a week. It is within walking distance of the town square, which has plenty of shops, tea rooms and great bakeries. There are also good walks which start in Helmsley and are recommended. It's also a good base for day trips to Whitby, Thirsk, etc. We recommend the property which was great for our family.
