Bungalow Medronheiro | Refugio do Carrascal | Tomar, center of Portugal

Refúgio do Carrascal is a family project made up of two independent bungalows that are located on a private property, cohabiting with our house.
Each bungalow is a wooden cabin, open space style, with a living room, double bed on a mezzanine (access via stairs), a sofa bed, bathroom, kitchenette equipped with basic utensils for preparing breakfast or small dining and outside there is a balcony overlooking the land. Located in a small forest with Mediterranean characteristics, with all its imperfect beauty, it is a rural space with no commerce in the surroundings, but it is only a 5 minute drive from the city of Tomar (or around 1 hour walk along nature paths). Tomar, a city enriched by its imposing Convent of Christ and Castle flanked by the Sete Montes National Forest and with a beautiful historic center, with monuments, churches, the river and gardens. The river beaches are also a reference in this region in the summer.
We want to provide a stay full of well-being close to nature and simultaneously close to the city.
