Shepherds' cottage is over 200 years old. It was built by Thomas Rees after his return from the Napoleonic war. He eventually built the whole row of five houses which were mostly occupied by his family. They also owned a coal mine in the area.
The street is named after him. Rees Row.
The cottage is pet-friendly with an enclosed garden.
