Beautiful cottage in ideal location
Despite the very wet weather, we enjoyed a wonderful two weeks at this very comfortable cottage. It was a home from home! A real bonus was the fact that all three bedrooms were en-suite. And so quiet too. Had a great morning sitting in bed with a cup of tea watching the sheep being rounded up - three beautiful dogs ran the show! We also had great fun with the games and jigsaws in the cottage.
This location is ideal for exploring the area both on foot and in the car. Plenty of walks on the estate with fabulous views everywhere you turn. We made the most of the two sunny days by visiting Oban, Crinan Canal as well as Carnasserie Castle, the views from which are spectacular. We also visited Temple Wood stones on the day of the Autumn Equinox which felt very special.
On our final evening we had a very good meal at the Kilmartin Hotel which is a short drive from our cottage.
All in all, a great couple of weeks, highly recommended!
