Apartment Kolovrat is on the ground floor from holiday home Maharac with 3 large apartments. Kolovrat has it's own covered terrace. The apartment has 90 m2, 2 bedrooms, a bed couch in the living room, sleep till 6, airconditioning, large shared garden with covered BBQ and a new bathroom with floor heating. There is private parking and the beach from the Soca-river is on a 5 minute walk. Tolmin and Kobarid are on a 15 min drive. An ideal location for exploring the Soca-valley!

Maharač
A very lovely vacation in one of the most beautiful places in Europe. This is what we offer. You will feel directly at home in the comfortable, large, stylish apartments which are a perfect starting point for an active and relaxing holiday. Maharac is situated in a quiet location in Kamno village on the sunny side of the mountains. The beaches on the famous Soca-river are 300 meters away and the Julian Alps with the Triglav National Park start at the back of the village. The towns Kobarid and Tolmin with their restaurants, shops, museums and bars are a 10-15 minute drive away.

It is an excellent spot for families, hikers, nature lovers, kayakers, rafters, outdoor enthusiasts, para-gliders, fishermen, motorcyclists and winter sportersmen. children can play safely and you can also relax in the sun and read a book...

The apartments are named after the local mountains; Kolovrat (bottom-floor), Matajur (middle-floor) and Krn (the loft). There are several terraces and balconies guaranteeing the privacy for each apartment. Outside there is a 1000m2 garden with a large covered stylish barbeque which is perfect for nice, cozy evenings.

We have developed Maharac over the last 8 years completely. Each apartment now has a heating system, washing machine, satellite-TV, DVD-player, coffee machine, microwave etc; Kolovrat and Matajur also have a dishwasher. Sheets, blankets, towels, washing powder are available. We have invested in good comfortable beds. For larger groups or family reunions you can rent more apartments. Kolovrat has an extra large dining table for seating more up to 10 people.

There is a storage for bicycles, a drying-room for wetsuits and fishing-gear and for all apartments a deep-fridge and a dryer. In Kamno village there is a (weekend) bar, managed by the members of the local sport club, for enthusiasts open till late at night. There is a sport field, a jeu de boulle track and a basketball court. Local villagers and farmers in Kamno are selling cheese, yogurt, honey and other ecological local products.
